The Easter event in 99 Nights in the Forest adds egg hunting with rewards including a limited UGC item. Collecting 13 eggs unlocks the free UGC, but you need to act fast since it's limited quantity. There are different egg types scattered across the map, some in random locations and others at specific landmarks. Here's where to find all eggs and how to collect them efficiently.

How the Easter Egg System Works

The eggs don't always spawn at the exact same spots every game since maps are randomly generated. However, the methods to obtain each egg type remain constant across all games. For example, the Lightning Egg always spawns under umbrellas and requires charging with lightning, even though the umbrella location changes each match.

When you collect eggs, take them to the Easter Bunny NPC at your camp. Submitting eggs to the Easter Bunny gives you two types of rewards. First, you earn egg currency that you can spend in the Easter Bunny shop. Second, you receive free rewards immediately upon submission. The egg currency is separate from the limited UGC eggs - egg currency is used for shop purchases, while collecting 10 total eggs unlocks the limited UGC item.

All Easter Egg Locations in 99 Nights in the Forest

  • Basic Eggs: Basic eggs spawn randomly all over the map and move away when you get close, so react quickly to grab them before they roll away.
  • Hard Mode Egg: Go to the hard mode building and activate hard mode to spawn this egg inside. The egg appears in the building after activation.
  • Lightning Egg Found underneath umbrellas on the map, this egg cannot be stored immediately. Place it on the ground during a thunderstorm and wait for lightning to strike it, then pick it up and store it in your egg basket.
  • UFO Egg Watch for UFOs flying in the sky and follow them to their crash sites. Kill all the aliens at the crash location for a chance to get the UFO egg, though it's not guaranteed every crash.
  • Basketball Hoop Egg: Spawns near basketball court areas on the map.
  • Fishing Egg: Catch this egg by fishing in any water source on the map.
  • Lava Egg Found in volcanic biome areas near lava pools and volcanic terrain. Search around lava areas carefully but watch out for lava damage.
  • Chicken Egg: You will need to move the baby chickens to their nest. Once you have done it with six chickens you can get the Chicken Egg on top of the hut.
  • Cave Egg Explore cave systems when you find them on the map. This egg commonly spawns inside cave entrances and tunnels in dark areas.
  • Cooked Egg: To get the cooked egg just collect 3 basic eggs and cook them.
  • Firefly Egg - Always found inside of a Firefly Cage. In order to meet the requirements for this egg, the player must place the egg near fireflies to charge it up. Once done, it can be given to the Easter Bunny.
  • Easter Bunny's Egg - In order to locate this egg, the player must go inside of the Easter Building near the campfire and interact with the map. Once done, it will show the player where the Evil Bunny Hut is located. Once there, you must walk up to the egg and "Steal" it. This will put the egg onto the player's back, and will initiate the chase sequence of the evil bunny. The player must run back to the campfire where once done, it will reward the player with a ruby chest.

Collect 10 eggs total to unlock the limited UGC reward. Focus on specific landmark eggs like basketball courts, caves, and volcanic areas since they're easier to find than random basic eggs. Work with teammates to cover more ground faster.
