After the launch of the S25 Edge, Samsung has set its sights on the next launch. The South Korean giant has started teasing the release of the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 series. For the first time, the Z Fold lineup will get a new Ultra-branded smartphone. A new teaser has revealed details about the upcoming phone.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra Promises Better Cameras In A Thinner Form

In a new blog post, the company has teased the “next chapter of Ultra,” hinting at the Z Fold 7 Ultra. The post says the company has listened to users asking for a bigger screen and better cameras.

Samsung says that the new Ultra will deliver “upgraded features in a smaller and portable form factor”. This means that the Z Fold 7 Ultra will be the thinnest foldable to date from the company.

This is a rather tall claim, especially given that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro with Zeiss lenses exists. Samsung also says that the Z Fold 7 will offer seamless AI integration, hinting at new Galaxy AI features to increase your productivity.

The post is rather vague and doesn’t go into any specifics. The Z Fold 7 Ultra will likely debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July alongside the Z Fold 7 and Flip 7.

Z Fold 7 Ultra Expected Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra is likely to pack an 8.2-inch inner screen and a 6.5-inch cover display. It is likely to pack a massive 200MP primary camera and 16GB of RAM.

As always, Samsung is likely to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite for the Galaxy chipset. The Fold 7 Ultra will be the lightest and thinnest fold to date, measuring 4.54mm.

One disappointment, however, would be the battery backup since the phone could ship with the same 4,400mAh as previous Z Folds. To make up for it, Samsung will offer faster 45W charging compared to 25W in the Z Fold 6.
