Abyss All Fish Ruins and Keys Locations

Abyss has various locations that offer treasures to those who find them. Fish ruins are among such locations that you can discover in all biomes. They contain hidden treasure chests that offer plenty of in-game items, like XP, money, Star Shards, Oxygen Pods, and potions. The treasure chests in ruins are locked behind bars, requiring a key to unlock and obtain goodies. In this guide, you can find the locations of all Abyss Fish Ruins, how to get the keys, and reach them in detail.

How to Reach All Fish Ruins

You can find multiple Abyss fish ruins in all four locations: The Forgotten Deep, Ocean, Ancient Sands, and Spirit Roots. It will be easy to discover them if you have purchased the minimap. Here are the locations for all fish ruins on all islands:

Forgotten Deep Fish Ruins

There’s only one fish ruin in the Forgotten Deep. Enter the Forgotten Deep from the left side of the Virelia NPC. Go straight until you see the ruin.

Ocean Fish Ruins

There’s one Abyss fish ruin in the Ocean. Enter the Forgotten Deep from the right side of the Scientist NPC. You will see an underwater plateau; get past it and look down to see the ruin. Descend to 120m to reach it.

Ancient Sands Fish Ruins

Ancient Sands has two Abyss Fish Ruins. The first one is located near the Grumpy Hank NPC’s tower, and the second is near the Suspicious Fisher NPC. Here is a step-by-step guide to finding them:

1. Near Suspicious Fisher NPC

1. Exit from Crazy Jeff’s Store and turn left.
2. Once you get to the open area, turn left towards the Marcus NPC.
3. Ascend around 100m until you are over the bridge.
4. Go straight until you reach the fish ruins on a plateau.

2. Near Grumpy Hank NPC

1. Exit from Crazy Jeff’s Store and turn right.
2. Turn left towards Grumpy Hank’s tower and go straight.
3. The fish ruin is located on a plateau that’s on the left side of Grumpy Hank’s tower.

Spirit Roots Fish Ruins

There are three Abyss fish ruins in Spirit Roots: near the Isaac NPC, inside Spirit Roots Cave, and. Here is a step-by-step guide to finding each:

1. Near the Isaac NPC

1. Exit the Spirit Root Hollow and ascend to around 342m.
2. Turn back, and you’ll see a tree. Go straight past the tree until you see Isaac NPC with his Sunfish pet.
3. Move towards the left from the Isaac NPC to find the fish ruin.

2. Inside Spirit Roots Cave

1. Exit from the Spirit Root Hollow and take two right turns to see the Spirit Caves entrance.
2. Enter the cave until you reach the fork in the path.
3. Take the right path and go straight to find the ruins.

3. Near the King Cat NPC’s Entrance

1. Enter the Spirit Roots cave.
2. Go straight until you reach a spot with two entrances. Take the left one and go straight.
3. You will see a safe spot with the Golem NPC and a path to the right.
4. Go straight, enter the area, and you’ll find the last ruin on your right side near the secret entrance to the King Cat NPC. Note that you must travel 500m deep into the Spirit Cave. You need a Plane Tube or better to reach it.

How to Get the Fish Ruins Keys

You need a Forgotten Key to open the Abyss fish ruins in the Forgotten Deep and the Ocean. Similarly, opening Ancient Sands fish ruins requires Ancient Keys, and Spirit Roots fish ruins require Spirit Keys. You can get the keys by completing quests from NPCs in their respective locations.
