Published: March 8, 2026 The Fish Pond update is here in Abyss and it brings in a lot of exciting features to the game. You can now store your favorite fish in the Fish Pond below the Forgotten Deep. Your fish will passively produce Roe, a new item that you can sell to earn money. You can upgrade your Fish Pond by adding decorations. You will require at least level 15 to access the Fish Pond and store your fish there. This article will guide you through everything you need to know about the new Fish Pond feature in Abyss!
Abyss Fish Pond Guide - How It Works
To start, you will have to visit The Guy NPC in order to start the Fish Pond quest. The NPC will ask you to level up to 15 to access the Fish Pond. Once you reach level 15, you can visit The Guy again and unlock the teleporter in the Fish Pond. After accessing the Fish Pond, you can visit your aquarium space and start depositing your favorite fish. The fish will produce more Roe if you feed them. You can purchase feed from Jonathan's Fish Feed Shop. Once you have filled your Roe deposits, you can withdraw them and sell them to The Guy NPC for a profit!
Jonathan’s Fish Feed Shop
To speed up Roe production, you can purchase Fish Feed from Jonathan's store. Each Feed lasts for 30 minutes and will speed up Roe production in that time. You can access your Fish Pond and add the Feed from your inventory. Here are all the feeds you can purchase from Jonathan's shop:

Bobert's Upgrade Store
If you're filling up the Roe storages quickly, consider upgrading your Fish Pond. You can visit Bobert's Upgrade store to purchase upgrades. Bobert can upgrade your Fish Pond storage, add decorations to speed up Roe production, and also increase Roe storage. Here are all the upgrades you can purchase:
- Fish Storage
- Upgrade the number of fish you can store in your Pond.
- First upgrade costs $25,000 and upgrades the Pond to store 8 fish instead of 6.
- Roe Storage
- Your fish can produce and store more Roe.
- The first upgrade costs $20,000 and increases Roe storage to 800 kg from 500 kg.
- Decorations
- Add decorations to your Pond to boost Roe production speed.
- First upgrade costs $15,000 and adds +5% Roe speed.
