If you've been exploring the Gloomspore Valley biome in Abyss, you've probably stumbled across the Fungus Temple. It's sitting at 698 meters deep, right across from the teleporter on the map. How to Get To Fungus Temple in Abyss

Open your map and head to the Gloomspore Valley biome. When you're there, the temple is going to be pretty easy to spot because it's just straight across from the teleporter. Once you're there, you'll see torches you can interact with by pressing E. Each torch toggles on or off, and some of them will light up nearby torches when you activate them. Your job is to get all the torches lit up at the same time to open the gate.

How to Solve Fungus Temple Puzzles in Abyss

Fungus Temple Puzzle 1 Solution

This first one is the easiest to get through. You only need to hit two torches in the right order:

  1. Toggle the left side torch that's close to the wall.
  2. Toggle the torch directly across from it on the right side.

That's it. Those two torches will activate all five torches in the room, and the gate opens right up. Inside, you'll find a treasure chest with coins, 5x Star Shards, and 1x Basic Oxygen Pod.

Fungus Temple Puzzle 2 Solution

After you go through the first gate, head down the stairs to reach the second puzzle room. This one has three rows of torches and takes a bit more thinking. Make sure you follow the order here:

  1. Toggle the first torch from the right on the second row.
  2. Toggle the far left torch on the second row.
  3. Toggle the second torch on the third row.

Get all three of those, and the gate opens. The chest inside gives you coins, 20x Star Shards, a Small Oxygen Pod, a Speed Potion, and a Drop Luck Potion.

Fungus Temple Puzzle 3 Solution

This is the hardest one, and a lot of people get stuck here. The most important thing before you start is to make sure every torch in the room is toggled off. If any are still on from messing around, reset them all first, or the solution won't work.

  1. Toggle the torch on the right side of the wall — this is the first torch on the third row.
  2. Go all the way to the top left corner of the room and toggle that torch on — it's the fourth torch on the fourth row.
  3. Head back toward the entrance of the puzzle room and toggle the first rock on your right — this is the second torch on the first row.
  4. Toggle the lamp on the left side of the room — that's the fourth torch on the second row.

Once those four are active, the gate opens. You'll get two normal chests and one big chest packed with Oxygen Pods, Star Shards, and a good amount of coins.

After finishing all three puzzles, Veya shows up in the temple. She's a brand new NPC added to Abyss, and you can only find this NPC here after clearing the final room. It's worth completing all three puzzles just to unlock this interaction, especially if you're trying to keep up with the game's questlines.
