Burger in Abyss isn’t edible like in real life. It is a reward from the Marcus NPC‘s quest and a required item to start Grumpy Hank’s questline. You must complete all of Marcus’s quests to receive the Burger as a final reward. Completing them is a lengthy task; however, the rewards you receive from each quest will motivate you enough. A Complete Guide to Getting the Burger in Abyss
First, you must find Marcus NPC in the Ancient Sands. Then, interact with him and complete all the quests to get the Burger. He offers six quests that involve catching specific normal and mutated fish, finding and opening Tier 2 Treasure Chests. Below is the complete guide:
1. Finding Marcus
Here is a step-by-step guide to finding the Marcus NPC:
- Enter the Forgotten Deep from the right side of David’s Tubes’ shop.
- Travel to the Ancient Sands by following its marker.
- You will see a waterfall on the left side of the bridge-like structure.
- Marcus will be standing on the right side of the waterfall.
- Interact with him to start his questline.
You can also use the Teleporter to travel to the Ancient Sands instantly. First, you must complete the Scientist Teleporter in The Forgotten Dome. Then, go to Crazy Jeff’s shop in the Ancient Sands and find the Teleporter to unlock two-way travel.
2. Completing the Quest and Getting the Burge
Before starting the quest, make sure you have purchased Radar from Richard NPC. You will be able to view the fish‘s name, stats, and the mutation with it. Additionally, it’s recommended to buy the Boat Tube, which can comfortably take you anywhere in the Ancient Sands.
Moreover, you must purchase the Crossbow Gun. It deals 85 damage, has a 2.6s cooldown period, and 0.65 control. This gun can help you catch rarer fish, such as Blackfin Tuna and Grouper. Another gun that you can invest in is Wasted. It deals 120 damage, has a 2.2s cooldown period, and 0.75 control. Wasted Gun can help you catch Scorpion Fish and Grouper without a sweat.
