What to Expect
The developers have actually teased a good amount of content for this update. Here is the list of everything you can expect:
- New Jungle Sub-Biome – A brand new area is coming, but this one is only a sub-part of it. The Jungle sub-biome will have more NPCs and quest lines, too.
- New Tube and Harpoon – There might be a new merchant who will sell tubes and harpoons, so that you are ready to explore the deeper part of the biome.
- New Fish Types and Mutations – More fish are coming, along with new mutations.
- World Event System – Just like other games in Roblox, Abyss will finally add its own World Event System, where you can experience a Day or Night cycle, Rain, and other World Events. These certain weather and time conditions will boost the spawn rate of specific mutations.
- QoL Changes – Quality of life updates are coming too, with Artifact Sets being one of the highlights.
- Monkeys and a Mysterious King – The developers hinted at “some monkeys and the king of them” on their Discord channel.
