Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Crafting Upgrades Guide

Keeping Edward Kenway alive and well-equipped across the Caribbean requires more than just a powerful Jackdaw. The crafting system lets you improve Edward's personal gear by hunting animals and using their hides and bones to unlock better ammo capacity, more pistol slots, stronger health, and more effective darts. If you want to take on the harder content in the game, these upgrades are not optional. Here is every crafting upgrade available in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced and exactly what you need to unlock each level.

What Are Crafting Upgrades

Crafting upgrades are personal improvements made to Edward's equipment accessed directly from the inventory screen. Unlike ship upgrades which use Materials like Wood and Metal these require Wildlife Products gathered by hunting animals across the Caribbean. Each upgrade category has multiple levels and each level costs different animal materials. The upgrades cover Edward's health pool, how many pistols and darts he can carry, ammo capacity, and how long his darts last in combat.

Note that Sleep Dart, Berserk Dart, and Dart Pouch all unlock during Sequence 04 Mission 04: Overrun and Outnumbered and are not available before that point in the story.
