The Mayan Mysteries quest is one of the hunts in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. Tracking down all 16 Mayan Stones unlocks the Mayan Outfit and the Yax Tun Pendant which absorbs incoming bullets, making it one of the best rewards in the game for anyone who wants to feel genuinely untouchable in combat. What Are Mayan Stones
Mayan Stones are hidden inside Mayan Stelae ruins scattered across the Caribbean. The Mayan Mysteries quest kicks off automatically in Tulum after completing the Overrun and Outnumbered main mission. Your first stone is handed to you during the This Old Cove quest but the remaining 15 need to be found manually.

When you find a Mayan Stela climb to the top of the highest pillar and press the interaction button. You will see highlighted ruins and a white figure on the ground below. Rotate and move the figure until each section lines up inside one of the circles on the ground matching the shape of the ruins above. Once the figure aligns correctly the puzzle is solved and you can collect the Mayan Stone. Remember to actually pick it up after solving or you will leave empty handed.
How to Complete the Mayan Mysteries Quest
Return to Tulum in the Conttoyor region on the western side of the map once you have all 16 Mayan stones. Use them to unlock the door to the Mayan Temple and claim your rewards. The Mayan Outfit and Yax Tun Pendant are both waiting inside.
