Artifacts will help you survive while fishing in the Abyss. They provide buffs to your stats, strengthening your ability to survive, travel fast, carry more weight, deal damage, and increase your Guns‘ fire rate. You can obtain them fairly easily once you collect Geodes while fishing. With that said, this article provides a complete list of all the Abyss artifacts and a guide to obtaining them.

How to Get Artifacts
There are two ways to get the Abyss artifacts: completing the quests and cracking Geodes. Three artifacts can be obtained by completing the quests. On the other hand, obtaining them from Geodes has a dedicated method and involves an NPC. Here is a step-by-step guide to obtaining artifacts from the Geodes:
- Obtain a Geode while fishing. They appear at random. You can catch them by playing the minigame while catching fish. The obtained Geode will be stored in your inventory.
- Visit the Virelia NPC in the Forgotten Deep and interact with her by pressing the “E” key on your keyboard.
- Click on the Yes [Open Artifacts] action prompt.
- A pop-up to select the Geode appears on your screen.
- Drag and drop the Geode into the space with the “+” sign.
- Pay the required amount by pressing the green Open button.
- Wait for a minute and receive the artifacts.
There are three types of Geodes: Mossy, Cactus, and Rooted. Opening each Geode type costs differently and requires a different amount of time. It is possible to cancel the Geode-cracking process at anytime before the timer ends. Doing so returns your Geode and the money.
A Geode grants one of these rarities of artifacts: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical. And, each rarity has a different drop rate. So, the type of artifact you obtain depends entirely on RNG. Note that the artifacts you receive from completing quests are of only one rarity: Secret.
