How to Get Dino Eggs in Raise Animals?
The Ancient update brought a new feature in Raise Animals, Dino Egg Fall. It is a phenomenon during which Dino Eggs fall from the sky. This phenomenon occurs only in the latest Raise Animals biome, Cretaterra. You can pick up the Eggs by colliding with them. Picking up either grants an Egg or 50 Rubies; there is a 30% chance of receiving the Egg and 70% of receiving the Ruby.
Dino Egg Fall doesn’t happen every time you encounter the Cretaterra biome. It is a very rare phenomenon, so you might have to play the mini-game many times and travel a longer distance to make the biome appear multiple times. This is the only way to obtain Dino Eggs in Raise Animals.
How to Hatch Dino Eggs in Raise Animals?
There are five tiers of Dino Eggs in Raise Animals: One, Two, Three, Four, and Five. You can get nine out of 10 dinosaurs by opening these Eggs. Each Egg contains different dinosaurs based on its tier, with higher-tier Eggs granting rarer dinosaurs. All dinosaurs can hatch from more than one Egg, but their drop rate differs based on the Egg’s tier.
You can hatch Dino Eggs using the Incubation Pod. It is located near the leaderboard in the lobby. Here is a step-by-step guide to hatching Dino Eggs in Raise Animals:
- Hold a Dino Egg by selecting it from the inventory.
- Approach the Incubation Pod, and interact with it by pressing the “E” key on your keyboard.
- Select the Hatch Egg action prompt. The menu to hatch Eggs appears on your screen.
- Hold the dinosaur Egg you want to hatch from your inventory.
- Tap the green Place button below an unlocked slot.
- Tap the Hatch button.
- Wait for two hours and hatch the Egg to obtain a dinosaur.
You can also sell the Egg for 50 Rubies after you place it in the slot. If you don’t want to hatch the Egg, you can cancel the process by tapping the Pick Up button at the slot’s right side. There is also a Skip button to hatch the Egg instantly; it costs 19 Robux.

You can also fuse low-tier Eggs to obtain higher-tier ones from the Incubation Pod. The process requires DNA, starting at 500, to fuse the Tier 1 Egg into a Tier 2 Egg. Its cost increases by 500 DNA for each tier. Fusing an Egg also increases its Luck stat by an additional 5% each Tier. Higher Luck means you are more likely to obtain a rare item from the Egg.
