What You Need Before You Start Enchanting in Dig
Before you can enchant anything, you need one important item: the Enchantment Tome. Without it, you can’t do anything at the enchanting altar. There are two ways to get these tomes:
Method 1: Find Them While Digging
This is the free way. When you dig up items, there’s about a 1 in 250 chance you’ll also find an Enchantment Tome. That might sound rare, but if you dig a lot, they add up. Using a Magnet Shovel makes this method faster because you cab dig up more stuff.
Method 2: Buy From the Dark Wizard
You can buy tomes for $15,000 each from a special NPC called the Dark Wizard. But he’s really picky about when he shows up. You need to visit the Odd Tower in Rooftop Woodlands during Summer, at night only. Plus, you must be level 30 or higher. The coordinates are 4401, 226, -628 if you want to find him.
How to Enchant Your Shovel in Dig Roblox
You can’t just enchant anywhere. There’s only one place in the whole game where it works: the Enchanting Altar in Azure Hollow.
- First, you need to get to Cinder Cavern. Head to Fernhill Forest and go north until you find the cavern entrance. Once inside, follow the path until you reach an elevator with an NPC standing next to it.
- Pay the NPC $1,000 and they’ll call the elevator for you. This takes you down to the deeper levels. From there, follow the blue glowing mushrooms through the cave system. When you see a rock formation covered in giant blue mushrooms, get out of your vehicle and walk the rest of the way.
- The Enchanting Altar is at coordinates 4141, -673, 2548.
Once you’re at the altar with your tome ready, the process is simple:
- Make sure the shovel you want to enchant is equipped.
- Open your backpack and find the Enchantment Tome.
- Click to hold the tome in your hand.
- Walk up to the altar and hold the E button.
That’s it! Your shovel will get a random enchantment. Additionally, every time you enchant something, you get a bonus called Enchant Blessing that gives you +0.5 Luck for 10 minutes. Once your shovel is enchanted, you’ll see a colored name when you look at it in your inventory. The effect also shows up above your hotbar when you have the shovel equipped, so you never forget what power it has.
