ARC Raiders gives you a solid selection of weapons to use when you’re out in the field fighting the ARC machines. Each weapon has its own stats and belongs to a specific category based on what kind of ammo it uses and how it performs in combat. Knowing what ARC Raiders’ weapons are available and how they work helps you make better choices about what to bring into a raid.

Assault Rifles

Assault rifles are your all-around weapons that work well in most situations. They’re effective at medium range and can handle different types of combat encounters.

WeaponAmmo TypeDamageFiring ModeRange

Kettle
Light Ammo10Single42.8

Rattler
Medium Ammo9Auto56.2

Arpeggio
Medium Ammo9.5Burst55.9

Tempest
Medium Ammo10Auto55.9

Bettina
Heavy Ammo14Auto51.3

The assault rifle category gives you options for different playstyles. If you prefer single-shot accuracy, the Kettle works well even though it uses lighter ammo. The Rattler and Tempest both fire automatically, but the Tempest has slightly better damage per shot. The Arpeggio sits in the middle with burst fire, which can be good if you want more control than full auto but faster shooting than single fire.

Battle Rifles

Battle rifles focus on higher damage per shot with better range than assault rifles. These work well when you need to engage targets from farther away.

WeaponAmmo TypeDamageFiring ModeRange

Ferro
Heavy Ammo40Single53.1

Renegade
Medium Ammo35Single68.8

Both battle rifles use single-shot firing, so they reward accuracy over spray-and-pray tactics. The Ferro hits harder with 40 damage, but the Renegade has significantly better range at 68.8, making it better for long-distance fights.

Submachine Guns

Submachine guns are your close-range, high-fire-rate weapons. They’re designed for quick encounters where you need to put out damage fast.

WeaponAmmo TypeDamageFiring ModeRange

Stitcher
Light Ammo7Auto42.1

Bobcat
Light Ammo6Auto44

The SMG category is small with just two options. Both use light ammo and fire automatically. The Stitcher does more damage per bullet, but the Bobcat has slightly better range. The difference between them is not huge, so it often comes down to handling. These weapons are best when you’re fighting in buildings or tight spaces where their shorter range doesn’t matter as much.

Shotguns

Shotguns deliver high damage at very close range. They’re powerful but require you to get near your target.

WeaponAmmo TypeDamageFiring ModeRange

Il Toro
Shotgun Ammo67.5Single20

Vulcano
Shotgun Ammo49.5Single26

Shotguns work best when you can get the jump on someone or when defending a tight corridor.

Pistols

Pistols are precision weapons for short to medium to long-range combat.

WeaponAmmo TypeDamageFiring ModeRange

Hairpin
Light Ammo20Single38.6

Burletta
Light Ammo10Single41.7

Anvil
Heavy Ammo40Single50.2

Venator
Medium Ammo18Single48.4

Anvil is the damage leader at 40 per shot with the best range at 50.2, making it a strong choice if you can manage the heavy ammo requirement.

Light Machine Guns

Light machine guns give you sustained automatic fire with larger magazine capacity. They’re meant for suppressing enemies and handling multiple targets.

WeaponAmmo TypeDamageFiring ModeRange

Torrente
Medium Ammo8Auto49.9

Torrente is currently the only LMG available. It uses medium ammo and fires automatically with 8 damage per shot. The range of 49.9 is respectable for an automatic weapon. LMGs typically have more ammo capacity than assault rifles, which means you can keep shooting longer without reloading. This makes them useful when you’re defending a position or pushing through an area with multiple enemies.

Sniper Rifles

Sniper rifles are your longest-range weapons with high damage. They’re designed for picking off targets from a distance.

WeaponAmmo TypeDamageFiring ModeRange

Osprey
Medium Ammo45Single80.3

Jupiter
Energy Clip55Single71.7

Both sniper rifles hit hard and reach far. Osprey uses medium ammo and has the longest range in the game at 80.3, making it excellent for extreme distances. Jupiter does more damage at 55 per shot and uses energy clips instead of traditional ammo. The trade-off is slightly less range at 71.7.

Special Weapons

WeaponAmmo TypeDamageFiring ModeRange

Equalizer
Energy Clip8Auto68.6

Hullcracker
Launcher Ammo100Single38.9

The Equalizer is an automatic weapon that uses energy clips and has impressive range for a full-auto gun at 68.6. The Hullcracker is completely different, using launcher ammo and dealing massive damage at 100 per shot. The Hullcracker’s range is limited to 38.9, but with that much damage, it’s clearly meant for destroying ARC machines or dealing with heavily armored targets rather than standard combat.
