Of all the Templar Hunts in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, Opia Apito's is the one that saves the best for last. It takes you across multiple islands, through a naval chase, a jungle hunt, and a full stealth infiltration that ends with a proper boss fight. If you're chasing that Templar Armor, this is the final piece of the puzzle. Here is the complete step-by-step walkthrough for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Opia Apito Templar Hunt.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Opia Apito Templar Hunt Walkthrough
Opia Apito is a Taino Assassin and the fourth Templar Hunt contact in Black Flag Resynced. You'll find her on Cayman Sound, in the Castillo de Jagua region. The key from her is part of a larger puzzle, since there are three other Templar Hunts in Black Flag Resynced:
Finishing all of them unlocks the Templar Armor, which is one of the best rewards the game throws your way through side content. This story runs through four missions, and for me, it's the most interesting compared to the other Templar Hunts.
Quest 1: The Taino Assassin
When you first meet Opia, she's not ready to trust you right away. Before she works with you, she wants you to prove yourself.
Follow her through the jungle camp and use Eagle Vision to search for clues. You'll need to inspect a tree with claw marks and a patch of blood on the ground nearby. Once you've found both, talk to Opia again.
Keep following her until you find a few dead guards and a trail of white jaguar tracks. Turn on Eagle Vision again and follow the tracks until you find the animal.
The White Jaguar might look intimidating, but it's actually an easy fight if you're prepared. The quickest method is to hit it with a Sleep Dart. Once it falls asleep, walk over and assassinate it for an instant kill. If you don't have any Sleep Darts, just dodge its attacks and land heavy hits whenever you get an opening. It's faster than most enemies, but it doesn't take long to bring it down.
After defeating the White Jaguar, you'll receive the Digested Map Piece and watch a short cutscene. Opia then moves closer to the docks at Grand Cayman. Head there to start the next mission.
Quest 2: Templar Ships
This mission is all about collecting information, and it's one of the easier parts of Opia's questline.
Follow Opia to a bridge over the river. What you need to do now is to listen to a conversation between two nearby people. You can stay inside the bushes behind them and eavesdrop. They'll mention someone known as the King of Fishermen, who becomes your next objective.
Now follow the quest marker to find the mysterious King of Fishermen. Once you spot him, you need to follow him, but keep your distance.
Wait until you get the prompt to pickpocket the Bill of Sale. The best time to steal it is when he's not looking. If he catches you trying to steal it, don't worry too much. He'll attack, and you'll have to defeat him to get the document. It's much easier to stay patient and pickpocket him without being noticed.
After you've collected the Bill of Sale, return to Opia near the eastern Viewpoint and hand it over to complete the mission.
Quest 3: Right-Hand Man
This mission starts with Opia taking you to the house of Vargas, the right-hand man of Templar leader. Opia knocks on the door to lure him out, but instead of fighting, Vargas takes off running. Your first job is to chase him through the streets.
You won't catch him before he reaches the docks. He'll jump onto a ship and sail away, so head left and use the shortcut to reach the Jackdaw as quickly as possible. Set sail and chase his ship.
Once you're close enough, attack the ship with your cannons. Be careful not to destroy it. Your goal is to weaken the ship until you get the option to board it, not sink it.
After boarding, ignore the rest of the crew and go straight for Vargas. Take him down to complete the mission. Once the mission is over, head north to Pinos Isle in Castillo de Jagua to continue the questline.
Quest 4: The Trail of Lucia Marquez
This is the final mission in Opia's questline. Meet her on the beach at Pinos Isle, then sit down beside her to wait until night. Once it gets dark, follow her through the Templar camp toward the ancient ruins.
There are plenty of guards along the way, so stay hidden whenever you can. Opia will signal a few dual assassinations, so be ready to help when she does. Use the bushes to stay out of sight.
When you reach the ruins, defeat the seven guards, then protect Opia from another group of enemies. After everyone is defeated, activate Eagle Vision and look for the green marker east of the ruins. That's your target, Lucia Marquez.
As soon as Lucia sees you, she'll try to escape. Chase her to the cliffs, where she'll make her final stand with two guards. You can defeat the guards first to make the fight easier, or rush Lucia and finish her quickly.
Once Lucia is down, hold the interact button to confirm the assassination. A cutscene will play, and you'll receive the fourth and final Templar Key. Talk to Opia one last time to finish the questline. With that, you've completed all of the Templar Hunts.

What Happens After All Four Templar Hunts?
With all four Templar Keys collected, head back to your manor on Great Inagua in the Gibara region. There's a locked gate on the property that accepts all four keys as part of the Damn Fine Gear side quest. Once you unlock it, the Templar Armor is yours. It's an awesome armor set and absolutely worth the time you've put into the four hunts to get it.
Opia Apito's Templar Hunt is a satisfying closer to the whole Templar Key storyline. It mixes tracking, naval combat, and a proper stealthy siege in a way that keeps things interesting from start to finish. If you've made it through Rhona, Anto, and Upton Travers already, this one feels like a fitting reward in itself before the armor even shows up. Go finish it and good luck!
