Sailing the Caribbean gets a lot more fun once your crew has something good to sing. But sometimes, your Boarding Crew keeps repeating the same songs on every voyage. This means that you're missing out on one of the quieter but charming collectibles in the game. Here is the complete list of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Sea Shanties locations.

How to Catch Sea Shanties in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced

Sea Shanties, sometimes labeled Song Sheets in your map menu, are collectible tunes that your crew performs while you're sailing the Jackdaw and not in combat. They don't boost your stats or unlock gear, but they do a lot for the vibe of the game. Once you've grabbed enough of them, you can skip between songs on the fly and even save your favorites so they come up more often.

When you get close to a Sea Shanty, the Song Sheet takes off flying, and you'll need to chase it through a short parkour sequence, jumping across rooftops, ropes, tree branches, or whatever the terrain gives you. There will be a notification on the right side of your screen when you successfully claimed it.

Miss it or fall off a roof partway through, and the Shanty vanishes. Don't worry though, it will respawn right where you found it, ready for another attempt. A musical note icon on your map marks every Shanty location, so open your map and hover over a region to check if there's one nearby before you sail off somewhere else.

From there, head to the east side of town and look for the rooftop near local coordinates (112, 17), where you'll find "Blow the Man Down" Sea Shanty.

Quests That Reward Sea Shanties in AC Black Flag Resynced

Not every Shanty is out in the open world. Three of them only come from finishing specific quests, which makes them feel a bit more special once you unlock them.

  • Burn Blackbeard's Beard comes from completing the "Do Not Go Gently" main quest, and it also hands you Blackbeard's treasure map as a bonus.
  • The Last Voyage of Stede Bonnet unlocks once you wrap up the "Captain Stede Bonnet" side quest.
  • Don't Forget Your Old Shipmate is tied to the Wayward Minds rift, which only opens up after you finish the main story.

I know that Sea Shanties won't make you a better fighter or a richer pirate, but they turn every long sail into something you'll actually want to listen to and that's the beauty of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. Chase down a few of these on your next voyage and your crew will sing about it!
