In this guide, I've listed every Side Quest in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, including where to start them, how to unlock them, how to complete them, and the rewards you'll earn.

What Are Side Quests?
Side Quests are optional activities that reward you for exploring the Caribbean and completing special objectives outside the main story in Assassin's Creed Black Flag. Unlike Assassin Contracts or Naval Contracts, these quests usually involve long-term goals, treasure hunts, collectibles, or major progression milestones.
Personally, I'd recommend completing these quests as they become available instead of saving them for the end of the game. Many of their rewards, especially the equipment and outfits, can make the rest of your adventure even more enjoyable.

How to Unlock Side Quests
Most Side Quests become available after completing the This Old Cove main story mission in AC Black Flag Resynced.
However, Mayan Mysteries unlocks a little later. You'll need to complete Overrun and Outnumbered before you can begin collecting the Mayan Stelae and work toward unlocking the seal in Tulum.

Former Glories Side Quest
Starting Location: Great Inagua, Gibara
Former Glories side quest focuses on rebuilding your home base in AC Black Flag Resynced. To complete this quest, you'll need to fully upgrade the Manor and restore every available building at Great Inagua.

If you're already earning extra Reales through Naval Contracts, you'll have a much easier time paying for the Manor upgrades.
Damn Fine Gear Side Quest
Starting Location: Great Inagua, Gibara
This side quest revolves around unlocking the legendary Templar Armor in AC Black Flag Resynced. To finish it, you'll first need to collect every Templar Key before opening the locked armor room inside the Manor.

Art Lover Side Quest
Starting Location: Great Inagua, Gibara
Art Lover side quest encourages you to explore the Caribbean and collect 25 Art Collection items in Black Flag Resynced. Although it takes some time, the rewards are well worth the effort if you're a completionist.

Mayan Mysteries Side Quest
Starting Location: Tulum, Conttoyor
Mayan Mysteries side quest becomes available after completing Overrun and Outnumbered. Your goal is to collect all 16 Mayan Stelae before unlocking the ancient seal in Tulum.

In my opinion, this is one of the most satisfying Side Quests in AC Black Flag Resynced because it encourages exploration instead of simply defeating enemies.
Blackbeard's Treasure Side Quest
Starting Location: Anotto Bay, Charlotte
This side quest follows the trail left behind by the legendary pirate Blackbeard. By using the treasure map he leaves behind, you'll eventually uncover his hidden treasure.

- Blackbeard's Portrait
Although the reward is mostly collectible, it's still worth completing if you're aiming for full completion. Besides, getting this portrait pays homage to one of the most iconic characters in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.
Captain Stede Bonnet Side Quest
Starting Location: Mystery Island, Navassa
Your objective for this side quest is to locate Stede Bonnet's missing ship and crew on Mystery Island.

Since this quest doesn't take very long, I'd recommend finishing it as soon as you discover Mystery Island.
