Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Ultimate Ship Plan Locations

If you want the Jackdaw to be an absolute beast on the open water in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, you are going to need all 12 Ultimate Ship Plans. They are the key to unlocking the final tier of upgrades for your ship, and finding them is one of the most rewarding parts of exploring the Caribbean. But some of them are sneaky, and if you played the original Black Flag back in the day, a few locations have changed enough to throw you off completely. Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Ultimate Ship Plan

In the original game, these were called Elite Ship Upgrades. Resynced renamed them Ultimate Ship Plans, but the purpose is the same. Each plan unlocks the highest possible upgrade for a specific part of the Jackdaw, from hull armor and cannons all the way to harpoons and fire barrels.

Once you have the upgrade, head to any Harbormaster to purchase the actual Jackdaw ship upgrades using the plans. They cost both Reales and materials, so keep raiding convoys as you hunt.

How to Get the Diving Bell

You cannot go after most of these plans until you have the Diving Bell in AC Black Flag Resynced. It unlocks during a Sequence 6 main mission called Diving for Medicine, after which you can buy the bell from the Harbormaster for 5,000 Reale.

Before you go underwater to search for Ship Plans, keep these in mind:

Diving Bell Ultimate Ship Plan Locations in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced

These six ship plans are all underwater in Black Flag Resynced. Swim carefully, watch out for sharks in a couple of spots, and always look for the bigger chest in each area:

1. Hull Armor Ultimate Ship Plan

Go to the San Ignacio Wreck at (350, 740) in the Dry Tortuga Sea. You actually pass through here during the Diving for Medicine mission itself, so there is a good chance you already have this one.

This plan doubles your armor value, making the Jackdaw dramatically tankier on the open sea. If you missed it, dive back down, push past the shark section, and look for a ship with a hole in its side. The large chest with the ship plan is inside.

2. Mortar Strength Ultimate Ship Plan

Head northwest of Great Inagua to Antocha Wreck (600, 634). This is one of the most powerful ship plan upgrades in the game since the mortar's damage effectively doubles. Swim to the southernmost point of the dive area and look right into the open shipwreck. Another shark patrols this area, so keep moving.

3. Ram Ultimate Ship Plan

This is the fastest and most straightforward dive of the six. Head to La Concepción Wreck (154, 267). Dive, and you can see the chest, which is almost directly north of where your diving bell drops you. Spot the broken ship section, and the Ram plan is inside. The Ram upgrade can send warships straight to the ocean floor with a well-timed charge.

4. Swivel Guns Strength Ultimate Ship Plan

When you enter the cave system inside the Devil's Eye Caverns (461, 328), always take the right path going north. The cave has heavy underwater currents that can blast you backward, so be very careful. Follow the northern tunnels until you surface onto a pathway going up, then head left down the tunnel from there. The chest is waiting at the end with the ship plan in it.

5. Broadside Cannons Number Ultimate Ship Plan

West of Kingston in the Charlotte Sea, you can find The Blue Hole (442, 144). Once you dive, just swim all the way to the northern end, and keep on going to the seafloor. The chest sits in a broken-open wreck section with the ship plans inside.

6. Round Shot Strength Ultimate Ship Plan

Located east of Kingston in the Navassa Sea. The ship plan in Kabah Ruins (738, 117) is at the very end of a cave system on the north side of the dive zone. Like Devil's Eye, this area has heavy underwater currents, so be very careful. Air pockets in the ceilings of some chambers can help you top up. A shark also roams the outer area, so do not hang around.

These remaining six ship plans work differently in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. You have to find the Treasure Map first, then travel to a separate location to dig up the chest. Edward will comment out loud when you are standing near buried treasure, so listen for that cue if you are struggling to pinpoint the exact dig spot.

1. Mortar Storage Ultimate Ship Plan

Dig up the Treasure Map near a skeleton in the northeast of Tortuga (847, 349). Then travel to Matanzas (312, 617).

Walk through the village all the way to the back of the island until you hit a waterfall. Walk straight through it, and the dig spot is hidden behind it; you can find the ship plan. You can also grab a Mayan Stelae nearby while you are there.

2. Heavy Shot Strength Ultimate Ship Plan

Pick up the Treasure Map from Ambergris Key (30, 159). Then, look for a broken shade sail with an opening at the top, swim through into the underwater tunnel, and surface in a small cove halfway through if you need air.

At the far end, take out the enemies on the second floor and grab the map. Then sail to Misteriosa (271, 176), climb to the highest point at the Viewpoint, look behind you for the waterfall, and dig up the chest just to the left of it inside the bushes to find the ship plan.

3. Heavy Shot Storage Ultimate Ship Plan

The Treasure Map is on the north side of Cayman Sound (298, 310) near some wreckage, you will find a skull.

Then, head to Petite Caverne (863, 235), clear the enemies inside, find the campfire in the middle of the cavern, and look for the small waterfall nearby. Walk behind it, and the dig spot is there to find the ship plans.

4. Harpoon Strength Ultimate Ship Plan

Go to Mariguana Island (849, 514) and look for a narrow gap in the rocks you can crawl through. The gap is just behind a crawling plant with white flowers on it. At the end of the passage, check to your left, and the Treasure Map is sitting in front of a skeleton.

Then sail to the southernmost tip of Andreas Island (544, 697). There is a mini island with two trees on it. The dig spot is right between them. Maxed harpoon strength makes hunting sea creatures feel completely effortless.

5. Fire Barrel Strength Ultimate Ship Plan

Head to Santanillas at (191, 218) and look for a skeleton in the north corner of the island. The Treasure Map is on the sleeping skeleton.

Then travel to San Juan at (455, 462) in the Cruz Sea. Like the Heavy Shot Strength plan, the diving bell is not required here. Park the Jackdaw a little off the coast and swim toward a small boat you will spot near the shore.

Dive straight down from there and enter a tunnel. Swim through it and come out inside a cave on the other side. The buried treasure is right near the first enemy in the area, next to a ramp.

6. Fire Barrel Storage Ultimate Ship Plan

First, grab the Treasure Map from a skeleton at Petite Caverne at (864, 237). Then sail to Tulum at (40, 372) in the southern Conttoyor area. Head to the southernmost point of the island, near the beach where some shipwrecks are sitting. Look for a single palm tree right at the bottom of the island. The dig spot is underneath it.

With all Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Ultimate Ship Plans in hand and every upgrade purchased, the Jackdaw becomes a force that even the toughest legendary ships in the game will struggle against. It takes some time to track them all down, but once you are sailing a fully upgraded ship, you will feel it's a lot easier!
