Survivors in Bite by Night each fall into distinct roles that shape how they play and contribute to the team. Whether you prefer healing, fighting, or supporting from a distance, choosing the right class can make the difference between escaping or getting caught. Currently, there are four survivor classes in the game: Customer, Fighter, Medic, and Security Guard.

Customer (Survivalist Class)

The Customer is a self-reliant survivalist focused on staying alive rather than directly helping others.

Abilities:

  • Ability One (Drink): Temporarily increases movement speed, allowing quick escapes. The cooldown time for this ability is 65 seconds. However, it applies a slowness debuff once the effect ends.
  • Ability Two (Pizza): Restores health (30%), helping the player recover without relying on teammates. The cooldown time for this ability is 30 seconds.

Playstyle:

  • Best for solo players
  • Focuses on mobility and survivability
  • Ideal for escaping dangerous situations

Fighter (Stunner Class)

The Fighter is the only class that can directly challenge the killer.

Abilities:

  • Ability One (Parry): By timing a precise block against an incoming close-range attack, the Fighter negates all damage and gains a charge for Swing. Failing to time it correctly applies a brief weakness effect, rewarding skillful use while punishing mistakes. Like Swing, this ability can be reused after its 30-second cooldown.
  • Ability Two (Swing): Unleashing a forward lunge with a fire axe, the Fighter stuns the Killer for 3 seconds while applying additional debuffs based on stored Parry charges. All charges are consumed on impact, making this ability a decisive, high-impact strike. After use, Swing becomes available again once its 30-second cooldown resets.

Best Use:

  • Saving teammates from the killer
  • Interrupting attacks with good timing

Medic (Healer Class)

The Medic keeps the team alive with consistent healing.

Abilities:

  • Ability one (Heal): The Medic channels a healing beam onto a teammate, restoring 5 HP every 2 seconds up to a set limit. If the target is already at full health, there is a chance to overheal instead. However, moving will immediately cancel the effect, so it must be used carefully during safe moments. Once used, Heal becomes available again after its 45-second cooldown.
  • Ability Two (Self Heal): Focusing inward, the Medic restores 5 HP every second, up to a total of 40 HP, but must remain completely still during the process. This ability cannot be manually canceled and will only end after taking damage or reaching its full duration. After activation, Self Heal can be used again once its 60-second cooldown has passed.

Best Use:

  • Supporting injured teammates
  • Keeping the team alive during long matches

Security Guard (Support Class)

The Security Guard provides utility and map awareness.

Abilities:

  • Ability one (Taser): The player charges and fires a taser that slows and briefly stuns the Killer, with stronger debuffs applied based on how long it is charged. Fully charged shots deliver more powerful effects but significantly reduce movement speed while charging, making positioning important. The cooldown varies depending on the outcome, resetting in 10 seconds if canceled, 15 seconds if missed, and 30 seconds on a successful hit.
  • Ability Two (Cams): Accessing the surveillance system, the user can view cameras placed across the map to monitor survivors, objectives, and the Killer. Highlight effects briefly reveal targets through walls and can even expose disguised enemies. This ability refreshes almost instantly, with just a 1-second cooldown between uses.

Best Use:

  • Tracking the killer’s movement
  • Helping teammates avoid danger
