Prestiging in Bizarre Lineage lets you reset your character back to level 1 in exchange for exclusive rewards and Prestige Shards. The prestige number appears at the top right of your screen and shows how many times players in your server have completed the prestige process. While prestiging means starting over from scratch with your stats, fighting style, and quests all reset, the rewards you gain make the grind worthwhile for players who want rare items and exclusive skins. Let us take a look at how to perform Prestige in Bizarre Lineage, and whether it's worth it.
Requirements to Prestige in Bizarre Lineage
You need to meet two basic requirements before you can prestige your character.
- First, your character must reach the maximum level of 50. This takes time as you complete quests, defeat NPCs, and gain experience through regular gameplay.
- Second, you need to have $10,000 cash in your inventory.
Reaching level 50 (leveling guide) happens naturally as you play through the story missions and complete both PvE and PvP quests. Earning $10,000 cash comes from multiple sources. Defeating NPCs drops small amounts of cash each time. Completing quests rewards larger cash amounts depending on the quest difficulty. You can also sell items. Combine all three methods to reach $10,000 faster.
Once you have both level 50 and $10,000 cash, you can proceed to the Hospital to find the NPC who handles prestiging. Make sure you actually want to prestige before talking to this NPC, because the process immediately resets your character once you confirm.
Where to Prestige in Bizarre Lineage
The Arch Mage NPC handles all prestige functions and can be found inside the Hospital building. The fastest way to reach the Hospital is by using the bus stop system.
- Find the nearest bus stop to your current location
- Take the bus to Bus Stop 10.
- After arriving at Bus Stop 10, turn to face southeast. You should see the Hospital directly in front of you as a large building.
- Walk straight toward the Hospital entrance and go inside.
- Inside the Hospital entrance area, look for the Arch Mage NPC.
The Arch Mage has a special icon above their head labeled "Prestige," which makes them easy to identify. This same NPC also runs the Prestige Shop, where you can spend Prestige Shards on rare items.
How to Prestige Your Character
Walk up to the Arch Mage and interact with them to open the prestige menu. The menu shows your current level and cash amount to confirm you meet the requirements. If you have level 50 and $10,000 cash, the prestige option becomes available.
Confirm that you want to prestige when the menu asks. The Arch Mage will take your $10,000 cash and immediately reset your character. Your level drops back to 1, your stats reset to zero, your fighting style gets removed, your sub ability disappears, and your storyline quest progress resets completely. This means you start the entire game progression over from the beginning.
After the reset completes, you receive your prestige rewards automatically. These rewards appear in your inventory right away. You also gain your first Prestige Shards, which unlock access to the Prestige Shop. Talk to the Arch Mage again after prestiging to open the shop menu.

Prestige Rewards
Every time you prestige, you receive a set of rewards that help kickstart your character's second run through the game. These rewards include:
- Stand Storage slot for storing an extra Stand
- 5 Prestige Shards to spend in the Prestige Shop
- 1 Legendary Chest containing random high-tier items
- 1 Stand Arrow for obtaining a new Stand
- $500 cash to help with early purchases
The 5 Prestige Shards are the most valuable reward because they give access to exclusive items in the Prestige Shop. You can only get Prestige Shards by completing the prestige process, making the shop items completely unavailable to players who never prestige.

Prestiging becomes faster each time you do it because you gain more experience with the game's systems and understand optimal leveling paths. Your third prestige will take less time than your second, and your fourth will be even faster. Eventually, you can prestige multiple times per week if you play regularly.
