Sub-Abilities in Bizarre Lineage are an important aspect of the game, as they define your character’s fighting style. Different Sub-Abilities grant unique traits and movesets, some provide passive healing, while others offer increased defense. In this guide, you’ll find all Sub-Abilities in Bizarre Lineage and learn how to obtain them.

All Sub-Abilities in Bizarre Lineage

There are currently four Sub-Abilities in Bizarre Lineage, each with its own perks and moveset:

1. Human

Human is the Sub-Ability you start with. It comes with a simple passive HP regen of 0.02 HP every 0.1 seconds, which keeps you alive in the early game without any effort.

Passive HP Regen+0.02 HP every 0.1 seconds
MovesNone

It doesn't have any moves, but that's fine. Human is a good starting point while you figure out the game and save up for a better Sub-Ability.

2. Vampire

Vampire is one of the strongest Sub-Abilities in the game, especially if you care about staying alive. To unlock it, you need a Vampire Mask first to lose your humanity. You can buy Vampire Mask from the Money Shop, get it in chests, or find it on the ground.

After that, go to bus stop 18th, and visit Dio's Chapel. There, you can speak to the Elder Vampire to get the full moveset.

Bizarre Lineage Sub-Abilities

What makes Vampire strong is its stacking regen. You get the base +0.02 HP passive regen, plus a red blood meter that kicks your regen even higher when it's full. If you also have High Speed Regeneration, you get an extra +0.04 HP on top of that. The healing adds up fast.

High Speed Regen BonusExtra +0.04 HP when stacked

Vampire is great for players who like to stay in long fights. The more you heal, the longer you last, and Leeching Terror lets you recover HP mid-fight by draining enemies directly.

3. Ripple (Hamon)

Ripple is built around one thing: punishing Vampires. If you're on a server full of Vampire users, Ripple is what you want. To unlock it, head to the 13th bus stop, find the Ancient Ghost, and complete his quest.

Ripple doesn't have as much raw sustain as Vampire, but it makes up for it by dealing bonus damage to Vampires on every single move. It also has a slight passive HP regen to keep you going between fights
