If you are just getting into Build a Ring Farm, eggs are probably one of the first things you will want to figure out. They are how you get pets, and pets are what make your farm actually work well. Some cost in-game cash, some cost Robux, and the pets you can get from each one vary a lot. This guide breaks down all the eggs in Build a Ring Farm, what pets are inside, and which ones are actually worth going after.
How to Get Eggs in Build A Ring Farm
Your main stop for eggs is the Egg Merchant, which sits along the outer edge of the garden, close to the Wheel Spin and Pets Buyer. The shop works on a rolling stock system, meaning what is available changes every five minutes.
You start with just one egg slot open at the merchant. You can unlock up to four more using in-game cash, which gives you more chances for higher-tier eggs to show up in the rotation. Here are the prices for the egg slots:

Outside the merchant, the Premium Shop is where you buy the Exclusive Egg with Robux. Some limited-time events also pop up around the garden, like temporary pet stands, so keep your eyes open as you walk around.
How Hatching Works
Once you buy an egg, it immediately triggers a roulette spin that lands on one of the pets in that egg's pool. For Robux eggs bought from the store, you use the egg from your inventory, and the same spinning process plays out. You do not need to go anywhere specific to hatch.
Your garden has a pet cap, though. You can only place a limited number of pets at once, so make sure you have room or look into the cap upgrade before you start cracking eggs back to back.

Common and Uncommon Eggs in Build a Ring Farm
The Common Egg at $25M is your entry point. It is a good starting point when you are still building your farm and do not have enough cash to chase anything higher. The Uncommon Egg is available at the merchant as well.
Neither of these eggs will get you anything that can compete with the pets from higher-tier eggs in the long run, but they are solid for newer players who want a pet on the farm sooner rather than later.
All Pets in the Rare Egg
The Rare Egg costs $25B Cash and has six pets in its pool. Two of them are Uncommon, two are Rare, and two are Epic-rarity pets.

To afford $25B, focus on farming Exotic and Transcended seeds. Apply mutations with sprays, upgrade your tools, and sell consistently.

At $10T Cash, the Epic Egg is one of the most expensive things you can buy with in-game currency. The egg has eight pets in its pool:

All Pets in the Dinosaur Egg
The Dinosaur Egg is the only egg in Build A Ring Farm that you cannot buy with in-game cash. Here are the prices:
- 199 Robux per egg
- 499 Robux for three eggs
- 1,499 Robux for ten eggs
You can also receive them as gifts from other players if they buy and gift them through the Premium Shop. This egg is only available until June 7th, 2026.

Which Egg Should You Go For?
If you are free to play, start with the Rare Egg once you have the cash for it. The Polar Bear makes that egg worth farming toward. Once you are further along and have the resources, the Epic Egg opens up the Legendary and Secret pet tiers. If you are willing to spend Robux and want the strongest possible passive abilities in the game right now, the Dinosaur Egg is the only place to get Divine-rarity pets. Just be aware of the deadline.
However you approach it, having your Egg Merchant slots fully unlocked is always the right call. More slots mean better odds, and better odds mean better pets for your farm.
