The Seed Collector is one of the simplest systems in Build a Ring Farm, but has a few important details worth understanding before you start submitting seeds. Getting the most out of it requires consistency over several days, and knowing what you are working toward makes that grind a lot more purposeful. Here is how the Seed Collector works in Build a Ring Farm.

Where to Find the Seed Collector in Build a Ring Farm

The machine is located in the center of the map outside your farm area. It is hard to miss since there is a large sign floating above it displaying the current target seed. Walk up to it and interact to check your point total, daily progress, and available rewards.

How the Seed Collector Works in Build a Ring Farm

The concept is straightforward. Equip a seed, interact with the machine, and submit it to earn points. The number of points you receive from each submission depends on the rarity of the seed you hand in. Higher rarity seeds earn more points per submission, so using stronger seeds is the most efficient way to hit your daily limit faster.

The target seed changes on a weekly basis. The current one is the Crowned Pear, an Exotic rarity crop worth $135,000 per unit. Previously the machine featured the Striped Starfruit Seed, so check back each week to see what is available.

Daily Cap and How Long It Takes

There is a daily point cap of 60,000, which resets every day. Since the final reward requires 180,000 total points, it takes a minimum of three days of hitting the daily cap to unlock it. There is no way to speed this up beyond that limit regardless of how many seeds you have available, so consistency across multiple days is more important than trying to rush it in a single session.

Seed Collector Reward Milestones

There are three reward thresholds to work through before you reach the final seed:

Points RequiredReward
60,000First reward pool unlock
120,000Second reward pool unlock
180,000Current target seed (Crowned Pear)

The rewards at the 60,000 and 120,000 milestones are drawn from a random pool of five items displayed right next to the Seed Collector, so different players will receive different items. These can include gear pieces, seeds, and time skips. Because the rewards are randomised, there is no guaranteed outcome at these two checkpoints, but they are worth pushing for on the way to the final milestone regardless.

The 180,000-point reward is the main reason to engage with the machine consistently. Exotic rarity seeds like the Crowned Pear are not easy to obtain, making the Seed Collector one of the more reliable paths to getting one without relying purely on luck.
