I seriously hate having to keep my phone near my ear, waiting for the other party to pick it up. One simple workaround is to watch the screen until ‘Calling’ changes to ‘0:00’, but let’s be honest, that’s not practical every time. Therefore, in this guide, I’ll show you how to make any Android phone vibrate when your outgoing call is answered.

Samsung Galaxy

In just two steps, you can enable vibration for call answers on your Samsung Galaxy phone. Here’s how:

  1. Open the Phone app, tap the three-dotted icon (kebab menu) in the top right corner, and select Settings.
  2. Go to Call alerts and ringtone settings and enable the Vibration when answered option.

OnePlus, Oppo and Realme

Oppo, Realme, and OnePlus have different names for their operating systems, but ColorOS remains the underlying base for all three. Therefore, the steps in this section will apply to all three smartphone brands.

  1. Launch the Phone app, tap the 3-dotted icon, and select Settings.
  2. Navigate to Calling accounts > Answer/End calls and turn on Vibrate when other party answers/ends a call.

Redmi and POCO

The steps are the same since both Redmi and POCO devices run on HyperOS.

  1. Open the Phone app and tap the hexagonal icon in the top right corner.
  2. Go to Advanced settings, tap Vibrate when your call is answered, and select the Normal option.

Vivo and iQOO

Since both Vivo and iQOO run on Funtouch OS, you can follow the same steps.

  1. Launch the Phone app, tap the 3-dotted icon, and select Call settings.
  2. Enable the Vibrate when the other party answers/hangs up option and you’re good to go.

Motorola

For all the Motorola users out there, here’s how to enable vibration when a call is answered:

  1. Head to the Android Settings > Sound & vibration > Vibration and haptics.
  2. Turn on the toggle next to Outgoing call vibration and you’re all set.

Infinix

To make your Infinix phone vibrate when an outgoing call is answered:

  1. Launch the Phone app and tap the hexagonal icon in the top right corner.
  2. Go to Advanced Settings and enable the Vibrate on Answered/Ended Call toggle.

Nothing Phone

The steps for a Nothing phone are the same as other Android brands that use the Google Dialer app.

  1. Open the Phone app, tap the three-dotted icon, and select Settings.
  2. Then, go to Calling accounts and turn on the Vibrate for outgoing call accepted feature.

That’s all for now, folks! I hope this guide helps you enable vibration when an outgoing call is answered, no matter what Android phone you have. I will keep updating this article as new smartphones hit the market.
