The Trade Up system in Escape Tsunami for Brainrots lets you combine brainrots to craft higher value ones. The machine spawns on the left side of your starting area and offers rotating recipes that change every 30 minutes. Here's how to use Trade Up machine in Escape Tsunami for Brainrots and what you need to know before crafting.

How Trade Up Works in Escape Tsunami for Brainrots

The Trade Up Machine sits on the left side of the spawn area. Walk up to it and interact to open the crafting menu. You'll see 5 available recipes showing which brainrots you can craft at that moment. Each recipe requires exactly 4 brainrots of the same rarity plus a crafting fee. Select the recipe you want, place the required brainrots into the machine, pay the fee, and confirm. The machine consumes your 4 brainrots and gives you 1 higher value brainrot in return. The roster of craftable brainrots rotates every 30 minutes. This means the 5 recipes you see now will completely change after half an hour. If you don't see the brainrot you want, wait for the next rotation.

At any given time, the machine offers:

  • 2 Secret rarity brainrots
  • 2 Celestial rarity brainrots
  • 1 Divine rarity brainrot

Divine is the rarest and most valuable option available through Trade Up.

Trade Up Requirements

RequirementDetails
Brainrots Needed4 of the same rarity
Mutation RequiredAll 4 must have Shamrock mutation
Crafting FeeVaries by recipe
Recipes Available5 at once
Recipe RotationEvery 30 minutes
Craftable Rarities2 Secret, 2 Celestial, 1 Divine

The biggest catch is the Shamrock mutation requirement. All 4 brainrots you submit must have Shamrock mutation, otherwise the recipe won't work. This makes Trade Up much harder to use since you need to farm specifically for Shamrock mutation brainrots. Regular brainrots without mutations are worthless for crafting. The crafting fee also varies depending on which recipe you select. Higher rarity outputs like Divine brainrots cost more to craft than Secret ones. Make sure you have enough currency before attempting to trade up.
