If you didn’t get the chance to watch the live event, here is the list of everything announced in the 40-minute showcase:

1. Resident Evil Requiem Gets Real About Fear

Resident Evil 9: Requiem is coming on February 27th, 2026, and it looks like it’s going to be different from what we’re used to. The big news here is the new main character, Grace Ashcroft, an FBI agent who actually has fear. The developers explained why they didn’t make Leon the main character this time. “Leon wouldn’t jump at something like a bucket falling,” they said. “No one wants to see Leon scared by every little thing.” Makes sense when you think about it.

You’ll be able to play in both first-person and third-person views, depending on how scary you want the experience to get. The game is set in Raccoon City 30 years in the future, which should give us a totally new look at this location. More behind-the-scenes content will be available on the Resident Evil Portal if you want to dig deeper into the development process.

2. Monster Hunter Wilds Gets Major Updates

Multiple updates are coming your way! Here are some important news to remember:

  • Free Title Update 2 drops on June 30th, 2025, and it brings back Lagiacrus with underwater battles. You’ll also see Seregios return.
  • The Festival of Accord: Flamefete event runs from July 23rd to August 6th. During this time, you can tackle the Arch-tempered Uth Duna challenge from July 30th to August 20th.
  • Capcom is doing a collaboration with Fender guitars. You’ll get new guitar-playing gestures in the game, and there’s even a Monster Hunter Rathalos Telecaster guitar you can buy in real life on March 21st, 2026. The Fender Event Quest will be available from August 27th to September 24th.
  • Free Title Update 3 is planned for late September, bringing another new monster and more seasonal events.

3. Street Fighter 6 Summer Content

Sagat, C. Viper, Ingrid, and Alex are finally coming to Street Fighter 6 on August 5th, 2025. Before he arrives, the Sagat Arrives! Fighter Pass starts on July 4th, giving you stickers, avatar gear, and new colors for Ryu and Ken. The big highlight is the new Outfit 4 swimsuit collection, also dropping at the same time. Additionally, seven characters are getting summer swimwear: Cammy, Luke, Chun-Li, Manon, Jamie, Kimberly, and A.K.I.

4. Pragmata Gets Gameplay Details

Pragmata is still coming in 2026, and we got a better look at the gameplay. You’ll play as space explorer Hugh Williams, working with an android girl named Diana. She has hacking abilities that you’ll use to fight robots. The game mixes puzzle-solving with combat, and you’ll need to think fast to survive. You can try it yourself at Gamescom 2025 this August.

5. Kunitsu-Gami Coming to Switch 2

The classic Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is now available on Switch 2 with some extra content. There’s a free update called Yashichi Waves that changes all the music to 8-bit style, which is pretty neat if you’re into retro gaming vibes.

6. Onimusha Makes a Comeback

Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny has been remastered with updated graphics and gameplay that work great on modern consoles. So now is your chance to experience it on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Moreover, a new game called Onimusha: Way of the Sword will be coming in 2026. This one follows Miyamoto Musashi as he faces off against his rival Sasaki Ganryu. You can already add it to your wishlist on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

7. Classic Fighting Games Return

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is now available, and it’s filled with 8 classic action and fighting games. You’ll also get a brand new training mode, a gallery filled with artwork and sounds, and one-button special moves to make the games easier for newcomers. You can grab it right now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Capcom really delivered with this showcase, giving us solid release dates and lots of new content to look forward to. Which one are you most excited about?
