Evomon has a dynamic weather system that changes every 15 minutes across the entire world. Each weather event can have a meaningful impact on your battles so knowing what each one does and planning your team around it can give you a real edge. Here is every weather event in Evomon and what to expect from each one.
All Weather Events in Evomon
| Weather | Effect |
|---|---|
| Sunny | No battle effects. The default state of the world and the most frequently occurring weather condition |
| Rain | Your Water-type Evomons become faster as the rain falls, gaining a Speed boost each turn they remain on the field |
| Volcanic Eruption | Every Evomon on your team that is not a Fire-type accumulates a Burn stack each turn making sustained battles increasingly punishing. Lava Crag runs under this weather permanently |
| Sandstorm | Evomons that are not Rock or Earth-type take passive damage every turn from the swirling sand |
| Thunderstorm | Any Evomon that is not an Electric-type risks being Paralysed each turn reducing their Speed and causing them to occasionally lose their turn entirely |
What to Know About Weather in Evomon
Since the weather shifts every 15 minutes it is worth keeping an eye on the current conditions before heading into battles or farming sessions. A few things worth planning around:
- Volcanic Eruption is the most punishing weather for unprepared teams since the Burn stacks it applies each turn will chip away at any non-Fire-type Evomon you have on the field. If you are farming at Lava Crag specifically this is permanent weather so always bring Fire-types or Evomons that can handle Burn effectively.
- Thunderstorm is dangerous for any team that does not have Electric-types since Paralysis reduces Speed and can cause your Evomons to lose their turn entirely. Prioritise Electric-type Evomons or Evomons with Paralysis immunity when this weather is active.
- Sandstorm passively chips health from non-Rock and non-Earth-type Evomons every turn which makes longer battles significantly more draining. If your team lacks those types bring extra healing items or plan for shorter engagements.
- Rain is the one weather event that works in your favour if you are running Water-types since the Speed boost each turn can help you outspeed opponents you would otherwise struggle against.
- Sunny is the baseline and has no effects so it is the safest weather for any team composition.
