Fire Force Season 3 continues to build towards its climax, and Episode 10  delivers a vital build-up that bridges emotional arcs and high-stakes tension. With the Great Cataclysm looming larger than ever before, both the White-Clad and Company 8 move forward with their respective plans, laying the groundwork for a war that is set to decide the fate of humanity.

With key revelations, reunions, and some familiar faces coming back, Episode 10 brings the calm before the storm, and Episode 11 appears set to take the plot into overdrive.

Fire Force Season 3 Episode 10 Recap: Advent

Episode 10, Advent, continues not long after Sho Kusakabe’s Adolla Link with his brother, Shinra. The vision awakens something deep within Sho, bringing clarity and a sense of longing. Even still under White-Clad control, he starts to wonder where his true allegiances are and if he should return to Shinra. The White-Clad, on the other hand, continue moving ahead with their preparations for the Great Cataclysm.

As Sho stealthily maneuvers through the temple, he encounters several members of the White-Clad, like Inca and Sumire, none of whom suspect his internal shift. However, Arrow, his protector, confronts him.

While trying to resist her, Sho commands her to escort him out. What follows is an enlightening moment: despite his cold demeanor, he is aware that Arrow’s loyalties are only to him. While Sho wants to distance himself, he accepts her company on his journey above ground.

Simultaneously, in Company 8, Shinra awakens in Asakusa, oblivious to Sho’s internal conflict. Captain Akitaru Obi has been busy rallying support behind the scenes, and his efforts begin to bear fruit. He quietly receives cooperation from Company 2 member Gustav Honda and Company 4 member Pan Ko Paat. With allies slowly coming into allegiance, Obi returns to his team, reminding them that unity and positivity are their biggest weapons in the war ahead.

On the White-Clad side, final preparations are being made for the final Mass. At the Evangelist’s orders, Haumea, Sumire, and the others set to work with the final phase of their plan. The emergence of the Great Cataclysm Execution Specialists, led by Faerie and including the formidable Dragon, further underscores the stakes.

Meanwhile, the Season 2 mole, Schop, returns just in the nick of time, alerting Company 8  about the Woman in Black’s final message: the Cataclysm is inevitable, and it’s happening sooner than expected.

The episode concludes with Sumire unleashing seismic energy that raises an enormous pillar from the sea, confirming that the apocalypse has already begun.

Final Thoughts

Episode 10 of Fire Force Season 3 slows the pacing just enough to build suspense without stalling the plot. Sho Kusakabe’s inner conflict adds emotional depth to the unfolding chaos, while Akitaru Obi’s leadership and strategic moves give fans a sliver of hope amidst despair.

Schop’s return and the dramatic sea pillar serve as harsh reminders: this isn’t just a setup, this is the beginning of the end. With Episode 11 just around the corner, the tension is at its peak, but this much is certain: Fire Force fans are in for a wild ride.
