Companions in Fisch are pets that follow you around and provide useful buffs while fishing. The game added 10 different companions on April 25, 2026, each requiring different unlock methods ranging from simple gift-giving to completing complex quest chains. Understanding where to find each companion and what items you need saves time compared to wandering around hoping to stumble across them randomly. Let us take a look at the location of all companions available in Fisch.

What are Companions in Fisch?

Companions are collectible pets that equip to your character and grant passive benefits during fishing. Each companion provides different buffs or perks that make catching fish easier or more efficient. You can only equip one companion at a time currently, though future updates may add more slots for multiple companions.

All companions unlock after reaching level 30 in the game. Below that level, you won't be able to obtain any companions even if you complete the required steps. Once you hit level 30, all 10 companions become available to pursue simultaneously.

The unlock methods vary significantly between companions. Some require specific baits, others need you to complete quests, and a few depend on random chance during certain weather conditions or events. Most companions involve traveling to specific locations and performing tasks rather than just fishing them up randomly.

Nico Cat

Head to the Underground Music Venue at coordinates 2015, -645, 2460 and find the Crazy Cat Lady NPC at 2011, -644, 2462. Complete her riddle quests through part 2 to receive the Nico Cat companion as a reward. The quest also rewards you with Nico's Yarncaster Rod, making it worth completing even beyond just getting the companion. This is a straightforward unlock with no RNG involved.

Gary Gator

Travel to Mushgrove Swamp and navigate to Alligator Marsh at coordinates 2653, 132, -751. You need to visit during early sunrise time specifically. Equip Shark Head Bait in your hand and wait near the water for Gary Gator to approach you. When the gator comes close enough to bite the bait, it will automatically befriend you and become your companion.

Tropical Toucan

Head to the Lost Jungle point of interest and navigate to coordinates -2924, 275, -2149. Look for a Tropical Toucan Cube sitting on the root part of a tree.

Equip Centipede, Snail, or any other bait obtained from the Lost Jungle area. Offer the bait to the Toucan by approaching it with the bait equipped. Sometimes you need to gift multiple baits before it accepts and becomes your companion, so bring extras.

Beak Bill

Beak Bill spawns and wanders around the dock areas of various islands, with Moosewood being the most reliable location. It appears mainly during nighttime or when it's raining. Once you locate a Beak Bill, give it any fish with Legendary rarity or higher. The companion will accept the fish and join you.

Silly Seal

Navigate to Northern Expedition and find the Northern Summit Island. Outside the main point of interest, look for small ice plates or broken pieces of ice floating in the water. Multiple Silly Seals roam on top of these ice platforms. Approach any Silly Seal and offer it a fish. Keep trying with different fish until one accepts your offering and becomes your companion.

Penguin Pal

The Penguin Pal requires more setup than most other companions. First, go to Snowcap Island and purchase Krill Bait from the merchant room located right above the Shipwright NPC. You also need Reinforced Crab Cages, which can be bought at several locations including near the Boreal Pines merchant.

Next, travel to the Snowburrow secret area at coordinates 2865, 141, 2557. To access Snowburrow, go to Snowcap Cave, reach the top, and quickly click all three cracked stone walls to open the secret passage. Place your Reinforced Crab Cage with Krill Bait inside at Snowburrow and wait.

This companion is RNG-based, meaning you might get it quickly or need multiple attempts. Check back after a few minutes to see if the Penguin Pal appeared in your cage.

Plunderbeak

Plunderbeak has specific requirements that must all be met before it will spawn. You need the Scurvy Rod (purchased near Jack Marrow NPC at Forsaken Shores for 40,000 coins), at least 10 opened treasure maps, and a completed Forsaken Shores Bestiary. Once all conditions are met, equip the Scurvy Rod and stand at coordinates -2629, 161, 1643.

Flopping Salmon

Take your boat to the open ocean away from any islands. Equip a rod with high lure speed and progress speed. Fish normally in the rain until a Flopping Salmon automatically jumps into your hands. This is RNG-based so it might take several catches before it happens.

Little Meg

Little Meg only appears during the Megalodon Hunt event. Either wait for the event to spawn naturally or use a Megalodon Hunt Totem to start it manually. Equip your Fish Radar once the hunt begins.

Mutated Sharky

Enter The Depths location and trigger the absolute darkness event by using the Onirifalx Rod. During peak darkness, a neon green fish will appear roaming around the ocean floor.

That's all you need to know about all the companions in Fisch Roblox.
