Fisch has added a new Easter Bestiary featuring three limited-time fish that can only be caught during the Easter event. All three fish are found in Easter Cove, but one requires completing a special quest before it unlocks. These Bestiary entries will be removed when the Easter event ends, so catch them while you can. Here's where to find all Easter Bestiary fish and what rods to use.

The first two Easter Bestiary fish can be caught anywhere in Easter Cove. Travel to Easter Cove and fish in any water spot. These fish have a chance to appear on any cast, making them relatively easy to complete. Since they spawn anywhere in Easter Cove, you don't need to search for specific fishing spots or locations. Just cast your line in any water and keep fishing until you catch both fish.

The third Easter Bestiary fish requires completing the Easter egg collection quest first. You need to find all 25 Easter eggs hidden around the map and give them to Bloom Bunny. Once you've collected and turned in all 25 Easter eggs to Bloom Bunny, the third fish unlocks and can be caught in Easter Cove water. This fish only spawns after completing the Easter egg quest, so focus on egg hunting before trying to catch it.

All three fish are limited-time Bestiary entries. When the Easter event ends, these fish will be removed from the game and you won't be able to catch them anymore. Make sure to complete the Bestiary before the event finishes.

What Rods to Use

Any high tier or mid tier rod works well for catching Easter Bestiary fish. You don't need specific rods or special equipment to catch these limited fish. High tier rods like the Trident Rod, Destiny Rod, or other endgame rods provide the best catch rates. However, mid tier rods also work perfectly fine if you don't have access to top-tier equipment yet.

Focus on having enough Resilience to catch the fish when they bite rather than worrying about specific rod stats or bait types. The Easter fish aren't particularly difficult to reel in once hooked; however, use Marshmallow chicks as bait. If you're struggling to catch the Easter fish, upgrade to a better rod or add Resilience enchantments. Otherwise, any decent rod from mid-game onwards should handle these catches easily.
