The Lost Jungle expansion added seven new fishing rods to Fisch, each with unique stats and unlock methods. These rods range from cheap starter options to expensive endgame equipment requiring questlines or bestiary completion. Some have special transformation mechanics while others focus on specific hunts. Here's every new rod from the update and which ones are actually worth your time.

Which One is Worth Getting?

  • The Verdant Oath gives you 300% luck, +50% progress speed, infinite kg, and good stats across the board for 1.25 million C$. The price is reasonable for what you get. Completing the Living Garden bestiary isn't too hard compared to the Plaguereaver questline. This rod works for general fishing, money grinding, and completing bestiaries.
  • At 150,000 C$, the Sweet-Stinger is the cheapest actually good rod from the expansion. The 180% lure speed is fantastic and the +10 Nectar Bloom focus makes hunting Queen Bee Serpent trivial. Good stats, reasonable price, and useful specialization make this the best value pick.

Skip These:

  • Decayed Rod - Only buy it if you need the Decayed mutation for Plaguereaver quest. Otherwise the decay passive makes you lose money.
  • Toxinburst Rod - The auto-fishing is cool but the stats are mediocre. Only useful for spawning Rotbloom while AFK. Not worth the material grind for general use.
  • Bloomspire - Too expensive (1.25 million) for a rod that requires rare lotus items to transform.

The Lost Jungle expansion added some genuinely strong rods but also some skip-worthy options. Focus on Sweet-Stinger first for the price, then save up for Verdant Oath. Only go for Plaguereaver if you're an endgame player with money to spare and patience for the questline.
