How to Get the Marrow Rod in Fisch
Getting the Marrow Rod is a multi-step process tied to the Drylands quest line so you cannot simply craft it whenever you feel like it.
First you need to complete the first two quests in Drylands. The Marrow Rod is part of the next stage of the Mysterious Marrow quest so those earlier steps are mandatory before the rod even becomes craftable. If you have not done them yet work through those first before continuing.
Once the first two Drylands quests are done, you need to gather the required crafting materials. The exact materials needed depend on what you have collected during your Drylands progress, so check your current quest log for the specific items required.
The most important step is that you cannot craft the Marrow Rod just anywhere. You must have the Ancient Archives unlocked on Ancient Isle since that is the only location where the rod can be crafted. Head there once you have your materials ready and craft it at the Ancient Archives.
Is the Marrow Rod Worth It
The Marrow Rod is decent at best. The 80% Luck is its strongest selling point and makes it a reasonable choice for players who want to maximise rare catch rates in the Drylands specifically. However the 30% Lure Speed is on the lower end and the 0.1 Control means heavier fish are going to give you a harder time than with more balanced rods.
It is not a rod you would take into general use across all fishing spots but for Drylands content and continuing the quest line it does its job. If you are progressing through the Mysterious Marrow quest you will be crafting it regardless so treat it as a quest requirement first and a fishing tool second.
