A new update is going to drop this weekend in Fish It, and this time, it's giving us something that we have been wanting for a while. If you are collecting rare fish in the game, the Fish It Forgotten Tier update is coming for you, and you will want to be logged in as early as possible so you have way bigger chance to catch the new fish. Fish It Forgotten Tier Update Release Date and Time
The Forgotten Tier update goes live on Saturday, March 7th, 2026, at 5:00 PM PT. Not sure when that lands in your timezone? Here is the full breakdown:

Countdown to Fish It Forgotten Tier Update
The update is just around the corner. You can jump into the game early to check out any pre-update activity, including the Admin Abuse event if it is running ahead of the patch going live.

What to Expect
Here is a quick look at what is coming in this update:
A new tier of fish is being added to the game with this update. The Forgotten tier catches will now be the rarest you can pull up in the game. So you are going to want to bring your best rod and stack as much Luck as you can before casting.
The developers also shared on the event page that this is going to be a major update, so we can expect new rods, boats, bobbers, and maybe even enchantments and charms to help you fish the new tier fish.
