Fish It Mariana Trench Expansion Update Guide
The Trench isn't just one static area anymore. This update reworks how the whole zone behaves, adds a brand new trader, a new Secret fish, extra gear, and even some potions that'll make your wallet cry a little. Let's go section by section so nothing gets missed.
The Trench Now Has Six Variations
This is the biggest change. Instead of one fixed Mariana Trench layout, there are now six different variations of the Trench, and each one comes with its own exclusive Mythic fish and its own special buff. So far, players have spotted variations like Lucky Abyssal, Shiny Abyss, Titan Pressure, and Rushing Current, each dropping different Mythics such as Deep Sea Lens, Blood Burn Revenger, and Parasitic Mutant.
Which variation you land in depends on your server. If you want to hunt down a different Mythic, you'll need to hop servers (or leave and rejoin) since the layout resets randomly each time.

Since the Mythic pool is spread across six maps, don't expect to collect them all in one sitting.
A New Secret Fish Has Surfaced
There's also a new Secret-tier fish with a rarity of around 1 in 3 million. Visually, it's nothing too flashy; It's got that standard Secret-tier size and shine, but the rarity alone makes it a solid trophy catch. You can reel it in from any of the six Trench variations, so you don't need to chase a specific map for this one.
The Contraband Market
A shady new trader called the Contraband Market has set up shop inside the Trench, and this is where most of your coins are going to disappear.
New Gear, Emote, Ability, and Rod Skins
Besides the market goods, this update also adds the Coin Toss Emote for a bit of flair and a new Minor Fortune Ability, which slowly increases your fishing luck the longer you keep casting. It's a nice passive bonus if you're planning to AFK fish for a while.
There are also a few new rod skins which look awesome, but the prices are all above millions of coins!
Quality of Life Fixes
The team also cleaned up a few annoying bugs. Weather visual effects now have their own toggle setting, and the Duck Race event issue where players weren't auto-seated has been patched. Pet Customization and Sunken Treasure bugs were fixed, too, and there's now a Show More/Less button for weather icons so your screen doesn't get cluttered.
