The brand-new Copper Canyon Island in Fish it brought a Wild West theme, pets, and a fresh batch of NPC quests to chase. One of the first you will run into is the Outlaw quest, and it’s actually a quick one you can complete early. If you just landed in Copper Canyon and you are wondering where to start, this is a great pick. Here is the guide for Fish it Outlaw Quest.

Who Is the Outlaw NPC in Fish It?

The Outlaw is one of the new NPCs hanging around Copper Canyon POI, the Wild West town sitting just to the right of Coral Reefs. The island is easy to spot from a distance thanks to its brown, dusty water.

Funny enough, the Outlaw actually broke out of jail, and you can find him on the right side of the island, close to the tents. When you talk to him, he asks for a favor. He wants supplies to hand out, and that is where you come in.

How to Complete the Outlaw Quest in Fish It

The quest itself is short and simple. Here are the steps:

  1. Travel to Copper Canyon island, found to the right of Coral Reefs.
  2. Find the Outlaw NPC near the tents after crossing the main pond.
  3. Accept his quest, which asks you to catch a few supply barrels.
  4. Fish around the Copper Canyon waters until the supply barrels reel in.
  5. Return to the Outlaw and hand them over to claim your reward.

The barrels work just like any other catch. You cast your fishing rod in the Copper Canyon water and wait for them to pop up. There is nothing special you need to equip, so any rod you already own will do the job.

Fish It Outlaw Quest Reward

Once you turn in the barrels, the Outlaw rewards you with a Small Tumbleweed bobber. Now, let's be honest here. This bobber is an Uncommon rarity, so it’s not worth much in trade value. It is more of a fun cosmetic that fits the desert vibe than a serious upgrade.

But anyway, it costs you almost nothing to grab, and collectors will want it for a complete bobber set. If you care about ticking off every item the Copper Canyon update added, this one belongs on your list.

Is the Outlaw Quest Worth Doing?

For the time it takes, yes. You will not get rich off the Small Tumbleweed bobber, but the quest takes only a few minutes and helps you learn your way around the new island. This one is like a warm-up before the tougher Sheriff quest. If you are working through every Copper Canyon NPC, the Outlaw is the easiest stop.
