Who Is Adam Smasher?
If you've played Cyberpunk 2077, you already know this guy. Adam Smasher is one of the most feared villains in the Cyberpunk universe. He's a full-body cyborg and the personal enforcer of the Arasaka corporation. Now he's also in Fortnite, and his look is just as intimidating. The official in-game description calls him "Night City's boogeyman, the ender of legends."
It's also worth noting that despite Adam Smasher being a video game character, he is not classified under the Gaming Legends Series in Fortnite.
How to Get Adam Smasher in Fortnite
There are two methods to get the skin in Fortnite:
Method 1: Buying the Cyberpunk 2077 Game (Free)
You can get the full Adam Smasher bundle completely free if you purchase Cyberpunk 2077 on the Epic Games Store. The promotion went live on May 14, 2026. Any purchase of Cyberpunk 2077 on the Epic Games Store from that date onward qualifies you for the free bundle.
Now, many players have also asked what happens if they bought Cyberpunk 2077 years ago. If you already own the game on the Epic Games Store, even if you bought it a long time ago, you should still qualify. Just open Fortnite, and the items should already be in your locker. There’s no need to buy the game again.
Method 2: Buying the Skins from the Item Shop
If you don't own Cyberpunk 2077 and don't plan to buy it, you can still get Adam Smasher through the Fortnite Item Shop. The skin first appeared in the Item Shop on May 15, 2026, which is its official release date. Keep in mind that Item Shop skins rotate in and out, so if you want it, don't wait too long.
What's Inside the Adam Smasher Skin Bundle in Fortnite
When you unlock Adam Smasher, you don't just get the outfit. You also get his backbling, which is based on the Arasaka HGL-17 Micromissile Launcher from Cyberpunk 2077. Both items are part of the same bundle and come together, whether you get them free or through the Item Shop.
