Fortnite is giving players another chance to earn a free skin, and this time it's the Champion Kor skin. Epic Games just announced that competitive players can unlock this skin by participating in special FNCS tournaments. If you're willing to test your skills against the best players in your region, you might get a chance for this skin. How to Unlock Champion Kor Skin in Fortnite for Free
This update doesn't just give you free Hope's Drone Glider, but also a skin of one of the assassins in Fortnite. To get Champion Kor skin for free in Fortnite, you need to finish in the top ranks of your region in the Champion Kor FNCS Cup or the mobile FNCS Cup. Only the best players in each tournament session will unlock the skin for free.
Here's what you need to do:
- Sign up for either the Battle Royale FNCS Cup or the Mobile FNCS Cup.
- Compete in the tournament on Saturday, April 11th, 2026.
- Finish within the top placements for your region.
- Claim your rewards after the tournament ends.
When Are the Champion Kor FNCS Cups?
Both Champion Kor tournaments take place on Saturday, April 11th, 2026. Epic is running two separate cups, so more players have a chance to compete:
- Champion Kor FNCS Cup – Battle Royale Duos tournament.
- Champion Kor FNCS Mobile Cup – Solo competition in Blitz mode.

Champion Kor FNCS Cup Rewards
The Battle Royale tournament is a Duos competition, so you'll need a teammate. Here's what you can earn based on your performance:

The top placement numbers vary by region. Here's how many players can earn the full reward set in each area:
- EU (Europe): Top 1,175 teams
- NA Central: Top 450 teams
- NA West: Top 200 teams
- BR (Brazil): Top 200 teams
- OCE (Oceania): Top 125 teams
- Asia: Top 125 teams
- Middle East: Top 125 teams
Europe has the most spots available because it has the largest player base, while smaller regions like OCE and Asia have fewer slots. If you're in EU, you have a better chance statistically, but the competition will also be tougher.
Champion Kor Mobile FNCS Cup Rewards
The Mobile Cup is a Solo Blitz mode tournament, so you're competing on your own. The rewards are the same as the Battle Royale cup, but the placements are much stricter:

Will Champion Kor Be in the Item Shop?
Epic confirmed that the Champion Kor skin will be available in the Item Shop at a later date. If you don't place high enough in the tournaments or if you can't participate, you'll still be able to buy it with V-Bucks.
