The current season, Lawless, will wrap up on May 2nd at 10:30 PM PT / 1:30 AM ET when the game goes offline for maintenance. If all goes according to plan, you’ll be able to jump into the Star Wars-themed season during the morning of Friday, May 3rd, 2025.
This timing is no coincidence with Star Wars Day, “May the 4th be with you,” falling just two days after launch, Epic Games is perfectly positioning this season to ride the wave of Star Wars celebrations. Unlike typical Fortnite seasons that run for 2-3 months, this Star Wars season is expected to be much shorter, only about a month, ending around June 8th, 2025. It looks like Epic Games wants to keep things fresh, especially after the Marvel season “Absolute Doom,” which some players thought dragged on too long.
Fortnite x Star Wars Official Reveal
The official announcement for this Star Wars season is expected to happen during Star Wars Celebration in Japan, running from April 18th to April 20th, 2025. Epic Games has specifically directed fans to tune into the Star Wars YouTube broadcast on the evening of April 19th for the big reveal.
While we probably won’t get a full Battle Pass reveal at this event because Epic typically saves those for right before season launch, we should get our first official look at what’s coming.
