Fortnite Clone Wars Skins Release Date
The Fortnite Clone Wars skins are dropping on Friday, May 1st, 2026, at 5 PM PT. That's just three days before May the 4th, so Epic is clearly using this as a warm-up for the bigger Star Wars Day celebrations. Here's what time that is in your timezone:

Are These Skins the Same as Old Cosmetics?
If you already own Anakin or Ahsoka in Fortnite, these are not the same skins. The Anakin Skywalker skin already in the game came out back on May 2nd, 2023, during Chapter 4 Season 2, and is based on his live-action look from Revenge of the Sith.
The Ahsoka Tano skin from Chapter 4 Season 4, which was released on September 26th, 2023, was styled after her appearance in the live-action Ahsoka series, and on top of that, it was a limited challenge reward that you can't unlock anymore.
These new Clone Wars skins are completely separate and pull directly from the beloved animated series. So even if you own both of the original versions, these are worth picking up if you're a Clone Wars fan.
The Fortnite x Star Wars partnership has been running since 2019, and it only keeps growing. This collab is a big moment for Clone Wars fans, and it could mean more is coming in the future. Epic has shown it can bring in characters from different Star Wars timelines, and using the animated style makes it easier to add more. Characters like Captain Rex, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Asajj Ventress could show up later if this collab does well.
