The Cube Rifle is one of the coolest new weapons in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2. Team Foundation just unlocked it through the Rivalries event, and it was designed by Elite Jules herself. If you want to grab it, here's everything you need to know.

How to Get Cube Rifle in Fortnite

Since Team Ice King got the Reforged Infinity Blade after completing their milestone in Act 2, now it's time for Team Foundation to get their own special weapon! You can find the Cube Rifle by opening chests, picking it up as floor loot, or finding it in Supply Drops. While that sounds simple, the Cube Rifle only appears in Epic and Legendary rarities, so you won’t come across it in every match.

If you prefer a more reliable method, look for a Rivalry Machine on the map and spend 80 Rival Credits to buy it directly. This will grant you the Hoprock Cube Rifle, the Exotic version of the weapon. The key difference is its built-in low-gravity effect. As long as you’re holding it, your jumps become slightly floaty, giving you extra mobility during fights.

How to Use the Cube Rifle

The Cube Rifle has two fire modes, and both work completely differently. Here's a simple breakdown:

Fire ModeDamageWhat It Does
Primary Fire50Fires a straight energy beam with strong stopping power
Secondary Fire70–125Shoots small cubes that explode, dealing damage and destroying structures

The primary fire is your standard attack. It shoots a fast, hard-hitting energy beam, making it reliable for direct damage in head-to-head fights.

The secondary fire is where the fun begins. It launches small Cube-infused projectiles that float briefly before exploding on their own. You can also shoot these projectiles with your primary fire to manually detonate them, dealing up to 125 damage.

If you want the Cube Rifle in Fortnite right away, grab 80 Rival Credits and head to a Rivalry Machine for the Hoprock version.  Give it a few games, and you'll quickly figure out why people are loving this thing in Chapter 7 Season 2.
