Fortnite’s Demon Rush LTM is here, and it’s bringing some serious demon-slaying action to your screen. This new mode puts a K-Pop Demon Hunters twist on the classic Horde Rush format, and trust me, you’re going to want to know how everything works before jumping in. Here is the complete Fortnite Demon Rush LTM guide, so you know how to survive and win this chaotic mode.

Demon Rush LTM

What Is Fortnite Demon Rush LTM in Fortnite?

Demon Rush is Fortnite’s latest Limited-Time Mode that runs from October 2nd to November 1st, 2025. Think of it as Horde Rush but with demons instead of cube monsters, and it’s got that roguelite feel where you get stronger as you play. You can team up with friends or go solo if you’re feeling brave. To access Demon Rush, head to the Discover tab in Fortnite and look for the game tile. Once you’re in, you’ll land on a map where you need to fight through multiple rounds of demon hordes while the storm slowly closes in.

How to Play Fortnite Demon Rush LTM

Here are the steps on how to play Fortnite Demon Rush LTM:

First Steps to Survival

When you first land in Demon Rush, you need to move fast and follow these things:

  • Grab weapons and ammo from chests.
  • Collect multiplier bonus shards from multi-kills for healing and loot.
  • Dance on the stage before each round to fully heal health and shields instead of wasting bandages or shield potions.

Recruit Your Demon Hunter Allies

You won’t be fighting alone in this mode. As you move closer to the dance stage, you’ll find three NPC allies:

  • Find Rumi, Mira, or Zoey near the dance stage.
  • Recruit them for free to fight with you.
  • Protect and heal them, or they can die and leave you without backup.

Understanding the Round Structure

Demon Rush throws five tough rounds at you, plus a final boss round. Between each round, you get about a minute to catch your breath, heal up, grab better weapons, and upgrade your gear. Use this time wisely because the demons get harder with each wave.

During these breaks, you’ll find upgrade stations where you can level up your weapons using monster parts. These parts drop from demons you kill, so the more you slay, the more upgrades you can get. You can upgrade weapons all the way to legendary rarity.

You’ll also find vending machines where you can spend shards to buy Mythic and Legendary weapons, including special K-Pop Demon Hunters items. Save up your shards for these powerful weapons because they make a huge difference in later rounds.

All Demon Types in Demon Rush LTM

The demons in this mode come in different flavors, each with its own annoying abilities:

  • Basic Demons – These guys run at you and try to hit you with melee attacks.
  • Shield Demons – They create protective bubbles around other demons, making them harder to kill.
  • Poison Demons – They explode into a toxic cloud when you kill them, so keep your distance.
  • Small Demons – Fast little troublemakers that swarm you quickly.
  • Ranged Demons: – These demons throw projectiles at you from a distance.
  • Ogres – Big enemies that hit hard. Some explode when they die, and some create poison clouds.
  • Mega Ogres – Even bigger and tougher versions that take more hits to bring down.
  • Mega Loot Ogres – Like regular Mega Ogres, but drop better rewards when defeated.

Mini-Bosses and The Final Boss

In round two, you’ll face Demon Kado Thorne. He shows up with a minigun and drops high-quality loot when you take him down. Round three brings The Caretaker, who’s basically the same boss from regular Horde Rush. He shoots lasers from his chest and slams the ground to knock you back. The final boss is called The Final Peel, a massive haunted version of Peely. He throws skull projectiles and creates dangerous blast zones around him.

Hunter Rank System

Demon Rush LTM has a permanent ranking system that makes you stronger over time. Every demon you kill gives you experience points toward your Hunter Rank, and these ranks carry over between matches. You can check your Hunter Rank by clicking the icon next to the play button in the Demon Rush lobby. There are 20 ranks total, and each one gives you permanent stat boosts that only work in Demon Rush mode.

All Hunter Rank Rewards

By the time you reach Rank 20, you’ll have significantly more health, shields, damage output, and starting resources. This makes it way easier to complete the harder difficulty levels and help newer players.

The most important milestone is Rank 5 because it unlocks the ability to increase difficulty. Once everyone in your squad reaches Rank 5 or higher, you can interact with the Cursed Tiger Statue to make the mode harder for better rewards.

Demon Rush is a fun Fortnite LTM that mixes horde survival, upgrades, and a ranking system that carries over between games. Even if you lose, you still earn progress toward your Hunter Rank. The more you play, the better you’ll get at picking perks, staying in good positions, and managing your resources. The mode is only available until November 1, 2025, so there’s limited time to reach max Hunter Rank and finish all the quests. Good luck out there!
