The Endgame mode just came back to Fortnite for OG Season 8. This is the Marvel crossover LTM that first showed up back in Chapter 1, Season 8. The mode puts 32 players into one match. You get split into two teams of 16 when you load in. One team is the Avengers. The other team is the Chitauri. If you're on the Chitauri side, your job is to collect Infinity Stones while The Avengers try to stop you from getting them. Here's how to find and collect all Infinity Stones in Fortnite.

How to Find and Collect Infinity Stones

The Endgame LTM assigns you to either the Avengers or the Chitauri team. If you're on the Chitauri team, your main objective is to secure all six Infinity Stones. If you're on the Avengers team, you need to prevent the Chitauri from collecting the stones by eliminating enemies and defending stone locations.

The first Chitauri player to collect an Infinity Stone transforms into Thanos immediately. This gives your team a massive advantage, as Thanos has powerful abilities and high health. From that point, your team continues collecting the remaining five stones while Thanos creates pressure on the Avengers.

If you die as Thanos, there's a cooldown period before you respawn as Thanos again. Once respawns are disabled for the Chitauri team, the Thanos role passes to another player if the original Thanos is eliminated. Avengers players use special Avengers weapons to counter Thanos and the Chitauri team. Focus on defending stone spawn locations and interrupting Chitauri players during the 6-second collection animation.

Collecting Infinity Stones:

The best way to grab stones is to stay ready before they even spawn. Keep your team together instead of splitting up across the map. When the notification hits your screen, immediately check your minimap to see how far away it is. Don't waste time finishing a fight or opening chests. The colored beam shooting into the sky helps you navigate while running there.

Speed matters more than anything else. Both teams see the same location markers, so you're racing against the Avengers from the second it spawns. Going alone is a mistake because you'll need backup during the actual collection. Once you reach the stone, position yourself directly over it and hold E on the keyboard. The collection animation locks you in place for six full seconds. You can't shoot back or build during this time, which makes you an easy target. This is why you need teammates. They need to form a protective circle around you and fight off anyone who tries to interrupt.

The six-second timer has to run completely. If you take damage or move away, the whole thing resets and you have to start over. Stay patient and let your team handle the defense. Once the animation finishes, the stone disappears and gets added to your team's total.

Whoever collects the very first stone in the match transforms into Thanos immediately. After that, your team keeps collecting the remaining stones while Thanos creates pressure on the other side of the map.

All Infinity Stones and Their Buffs

Stone NameColorPower Gained
Power StonePurpleBeam attack damage increases by 6x
Mind StoneYellowJump height gets a massive boost
Soul StoneOrangeEliminated enemies drop shields for Thanos
Time StoneGreenMelee attacks deal 3x damage with huge knockback
Reality StoneRedTotal health doubles from 1,000 to 2,000
Space StoneBlueGround pound radius triples and damage increases by 6x

Every stone makes Thanos stronger. The Reality Stone doubles his health pool, making him extremely durable. The Soul Stone provides sustain through shield regeneration on kills. The Mind Stone improves mobility for chasing enemies or repositioning.

The Space Stone, Time Stone, and Power Stone focus on damage output. Space Stone makes Thanos' abilities hit larger areas with more damage. Time Stone turns his melee attacks into devastating knockback tools. Power Stone makes his beam attack extremely dangerous in combat.

The cumulative effect of all six stones makes Thanos nearly unstoppable when fully powered. Combined with the +150 health boost to all Chitauri soldiers (25 health per stone × 6 stones), the Chitauri team becomes much harder to defeat.

How the Fortnite Endgame LTM Match Works?

The Chitauri team has 60 respawns total that everyone shares. Use one up every time someone dies and comes back. The Avengers have unlimited respawns at the start of the match. Things change completely when you collect the sixth and final stone. A message appears on screen saying "The Infinity Gauntlet is complete." This is the turning point. The Avengers lose their ability to respawn from this moment on. Every elimination becomes permanent for them. If they die, they're out of the match for good.

Your team just needs to hunt down and eliminate all the remaining Avengers players. But you still only have those 60 total respawns. If you waste all of them before finishing the job, your remaining players have to survive without any extra lives. The Avengers can still win even after losing their respawns. They just need to eliminate every single Chitauri player before getting wiped out themselves. Games get really intense during this final phase because every fight matters.

The team that reacts fastest to stone spawns usually wins. Get to each location before the enemy team and you'll build up an advantage that's hard to overcome.
