The Frost-Ready Foundation and the Exalted Frost Ice King are both up for grabs in Fortnite, but you can only get one of them, and it all depends on how the Showdown plays out. Here's everything you need to know to make sure you don't miss out.
What Are These Skin Variants in Fortnite?
So actually, these aren't brand new outfits. They are outfit styles, which are extra looks added on top of outfits you already have from the Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass.

Both variants have a frosty, winter-themed design that makes the outfits look completely different from their default styles. They're exclusive to this season, so once the season ends, there's no other way to get them.
How to Get Frost-Ready Foundation and Exalted Frost Ice King
Here are the steps on how to get the variants in Fortnite:
Step 1: Own the Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass
The first thing you need is the Showdown Battle Pass. Both the Frost-Ready Foundation and Exalted Frost Ice King variants are locked behind it. If you don't have the Battle Pass, you won't be eligible to unlock the reward at the end of the season. Make sure you grab it before the season ends on June 5th, 2026.
Step 2: Pick Your Team
When you log into Fortnite for the first time this season, the game asks you to choose a side: Team Foundation or Team Ice King. Your choice affects what weapons get added to the game throughout the season, and even how the Shattered live event plays out for you.
This is important: You cannot switch teams after you've chosen. So, if you haven't picked yet, think it through before you lock in.
Step 3: Earn Rivalry Points During the Showdown Epilogue
The Showdown Epilogue is the final phase of the season-long rivalry between the two teams. It starts on May 30th, 2026, and runs until one team hits the points goal.
Every match you play contributes to the Rivalry Points for your team's total. The more you play during the Epilogue window, the more you help push your team toward the win. Here is when the Epilogue starts in different time zones:

Step 4: Wait for the Winning Team to Hit 200,000,000 Points
The Epilogue ends as soon as one team reaches 200,000,000 Rivalry Points. Whichever team gets there first wins the Showdown, and their outfit variant becomes the reward for all Battle Pass owners.
Step 5: Claim Your Reward
You don't have to be on the winning team to get the variant. As long as you own the Battle Pass, you will get the winning team's outfit style automatically unlocked at the end of the season on June 5th, 2026. Just log in after the season ends, and it will be there waiting for you.
Getting either the Forst-Ready Foundation or Exalted Frost Ice King variant is easy. You just need to be playing this season and win the rivalries. Make sure you are ready to log in the game and help your team push toward that 200,000,000 point goal and get the free variant!
