New Map Locations in Fortnite Galactic Battle
The battle between good and evil is playing out across the Battle Royale island with four new major points of interest:
First Order Base
This stronghold sits high on a mountain and holds damaged TIE fighters. There are five ways in, but the utility shaft is the best for sneaking around unnoticed. Captain Phasma is on patrol, and you need to beat her to get her Mythic F-11D Blaster and a medallion that helps your blaster stay cool longer.
Outpost Enclave
A busy smuggler hub where fights often break out, so stay alert. Don’t skip the nearby sandcrawler because it’s packed with useful gear that can give you an early advantage in the game.
Resistance Base
Hidden underground and covered by trees, this is the main Resistance hideout. You’ll find X-wings and gear to fight the First Order. The entrance is hard to see, so watch for small signs of movement nearby.
Vader Samurai’s Solitude
Vader Samurai controls this castle-like fortress, which mixes old Japanese design with Star Wars tech. You’ll need to defeat Stormtrooper Samurai before reaching him. If you win, you get his red lightsaber and a Force ability that lets you throw it.

Lightsabers and Force Powers: Become a Jedi or Sith
Lightsabers aren’t just cool, but they also provide significant gameplay advantages:
- Sprint faster
- Jump twice as high
- Immunity to fall damage
- Ability to deflect blaster bolts back at enemies
To get a lightsaber and Force power, you need to train with Star Wars hologram NPCs spread around the map:

Important tip: Force Abilities stay with you, not the lightsaber. If another player takes your lightsaber, they won’t get your Force power. Likewise, if you find a lightsaber on the ground or loot one from a defeated player, you’ll need your own Force training to use the abilities.
