The Fortnite island just got a lot more interesting, and this is what I like about Chapter 7 Season 3. It's not boring at all since they give us new things every week. Runners is rolling out a brand-new event this week, and it's bringing a batch of new sprites that could help you win more matches. Here are the details you need to know about Fortnite Gone Wild Sprites.
Fortnite Gone Wild Event Sprites Guide
Gone Wild is the big Chapter 7 Season 3 event kicking off on June 25th, 2026. The headline feature is five new Sprites being added to the island during the New Sprite Thursdays weekly event. The key thing to know is that once a Sprite shows up, it stays on the island for the rest of the season. So you can grab them at your own pace after they drop.
Here's the full schedule for the event in different time zones:
| Time Zone | Date and Time |
|---|---|
| Pacific Time (PT) | Thursday, June 25 – 4:00 AM |
| Eastern Time (ET) | Thursday, June 25 – 7:00 AM |
| Central European Time (CET) | Thursday, June 25 – 1:00 PM |
| India Time (IST) | Thursday, June 25 – 4:30 PM |
| Japan Time (JST) | Thursday, June 25 – 8:00 PM |
| Australian Time (AEST) | Thursday, June 25 – 9:00 PM |
Expect a short downtime window while the patch rolls out. Servers usually come back online within a couple of hours after maintenance begins.
All New Fortnite Gone Wild Event Sprites
Here's every new Sprite arriving with v41.10, along with what each one does and how to get it:
| Sprite | Power | How to Get |
|---|---|---|
![]() Striker Sprite | Gain Overdrive when you Mantle or Hurdle | Score a goal at the new Soccer Pitch POI |
![]() Fishy Sprite | Swim speed boost + movement speed buff when you take damage | Found in Sprite Chests or Floor Loot |
![]() Aura Sprite | Gain a Shock Rock charge after dealing enough damage | Found in Sprite Chests or Floor Loot |
![]() Boss Sprite | Boosts your max Health and Shield | Defeat any Season Boss (not a guaranteed drop) |
![]() Grim Reaper Sprite | Marks anyone who attacks you for a short duration | Found in Sprite Chests or Floor Loot |

Striker Sprite
The Striker Sprite has a unique unlock requirement. To get it, visit the new Soccer Pitch POI and score a goal. Once unlocked, the Sprite automatically activates Overdrive whenever you Mantle or Hurdle. Since players do both actions regularly while moving around and fighting, this gives you a free boost easily.
Fishy Sprite
The Fishy Sprite is inspired by Fishstick and focuses on movement. It increases your swimming speed, making it useful in fights near rivers, lakes, and other water areas. It also gives you a short speed boost whenever an enemy damages you. This can help you get to cover faster or escape a bad situation after taking a hit.
Aura Sprite
After dealing a certain amount of damage, the Aura Sprite grants you a Shock Rock charge. Epic hasn't revealed how much damage you need to deal before the effect activates. So we will have to wait to see how useful it really is.
Boss Sprite
The Boss Sprite is very simple. It increases your maximum Health and Shield, making you harder to eliminate. To unlock it, you need to defeat one of the seasonal NPC bosses. Even then, the Sprite is not guaranteed to drop, so you may need to defeat a boss multiple times before getting it.
Grim Reaper Sprite
The Grim Reaper Sprite may be one of the strongest Sprites in the update. Whenever an enemy damages you, their location is briefly revealed. This means you can immediately see where the attack came from, even if the enemy is hiding behind cover or shooting from far away.
Which New Sprite Should You Go After First?
If you only have time to chase one Sprite on launch day, make it the Grim Reaper or the Striker. Both of them activate through things you're already doing in every fight, so they're very useful. The Boss Sprite is worth the grind, but save it for once you've sorted out your regular loot route. Plus, once you get them, don't forget to extract them so you can reach full mastery level.
New Sprites are coming every Thursday from here, so keep checking back on our countdown to stay ahead of the rotation. And if you are more on the creative side, you can also join the Sprite Design Contest for the chance to win a $2,500 cash prize!
