Epic Games has finally confirmed that Power Rangers are coming to Fortnite. After weeks of leaks and rumors, they dropped an official trailer on August 5th, 2025, confirming the crossover for Chapter 6 Season 4. The Power Rangers have been around since the 1990s, so if you grew up watching these colorful heroes fight monsters, you will love this new addition to the game. But even if you’re not familiar with Power Rangers, the skins and items look pretty cool from what we’ve seen so far.
When Does the Fortnite Power Rangers Collaboration Start?
The Power Rangers collaboration starts with Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 on August 7th, 2025. This is when you’ll be able to get your first Power Rangers content through the Battle Pass.
The main Battle Pass content drops right away, but some items will come later. Based on the leaks posted by iFireMonkey on X, The Mighty Morphin Bundle will hit the Item Shop mid-August. Epic Games hasn’t given us an exact date yet, just that it’s coming sometime in the middle of the month. There’s also a Megazord transformation that becomes available later. You can unlock this by completing quests starting September 16th, 2025

Here’s what we know about the Power Rangers items coming to Fortnite:

Based on leaks and speculation, there might also be Power Coin back bling, Blade Blaster-inspired pickaxes, transformation emotes, and Megazord Glider. But Epic hasn’t confirmed these yet, so don’t count on them being in the game. The Megazord transformation appears to be a temporary power-up rather than a permanent skin. It works like other mythic transformations, like Godzilla or Superman from previous seasons, where you become the giant robot for a limited time during matches.
What to Expect in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4
Chapter 6 Season 4 continues where Season 3 left off. After Superman and the Supernova Academy heroes fought those creepy tentacles, something worse is coming. Bug monsters are invading the Fortnite island, and regular weapons aren’t enough.
The new season is called “Shock ‘N Awesome”, has a bug invasion theme. The Power Rangers are coming to help fight off these creatures, which explains why they’re part of this season’s story. The season also introduces a new character called Gamer Girl, who works alongside the Rangers. She’ll be part of the Battle Pass, too.
From the trailer, we can see some new weapons:

- Swarmstrike Launcher
Epic is planning a midseason takeover in September, which is when the Megazord transformation becomes available. This suggests there will be special events or map changes halfway through the season, pretty similar to the Godzilla event. Jump in on August 7 and get ready to morph!
