The Skyline Deployer is a new utility item added to Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2. This tool creates ziplines that let you travel through the air quickly. The Skyline Deployer shoots a zipline that attaches to two balloons. You automatically jump onto the zipline after firing it. Each balloon has 100 health, so enemies can shoot them to destroy your zipline. The zipline stays active for 15 seconds, letting you and other players use it multiple times until it expires or gets destroyed.
How to Get Skyline Deployer
Finding the Skyline Deployer is easy since it's only a Blue rarity. Look in these locations:
- Chests
- Floor loot
- Supply drops
- Vending machines
- Eliminated players
How to Use Skyline Deployer in Fortnite?
Using the Skyline Deployer takes three simple steps:
- Step 1 - Equip the Skyline Deployer.
- Step 2 - Aim at where you want to go. You can aim at buildings, mountains, or straight into the sky.
- Step 3 - Shoot to fire the Zipline.
The item has three charges that recharge one at a time. Each charge takes 30 seconds to come back. This means you can use it three times quickly, then wait for charges to return.
Remember that ziplines stay active for 15 seconds after you create them. Other players can use your ziplines too, including enemies. If you create a zipline and escape, opponents might follow you using the same line. Destroy the balloons by shooting them if you don't want enemies chasing you.
