How to Get Striker Sprite in Fortnite

The Striker Sprite, one of the new Fortnite Gone Wild Sprite additions, can be spawned by scoring a goal at either goalpost on the new Soccer Field POI, located just southeast of Heatwave Harbor. Here's how to get it step by step:

  1. Land at the soccer field near The Quackaway landmark.
  2. Find the soccer ball on the pitch.
  3. Score a goal by running the ball into either goalpost. You can dribble it with your feet by sprinting toward it, or pickaxe it to knock it in faster.
  4. Once the ball crosses the line, you'll hear a whistle and sirens go off.
  5. The ball then transforms into the Striker Sprite.

Expect many other players to drop here and fight on the pitch to get this Sprite as well. If scoring a goal proves too difficult, Striker Sprites can also be found by opening Sprite Chests and Relic Chests, although the chance is small.

Once you get your hands on a Striker Sprite, quickly extract it at a Sprite Extraction machine. One should spawn in the middle of the soccer field, but if it's too crowded, look for other extraction sites or use a Portable Extraction Gizmo.

What Does the Striker Sprite Do?

Once you've extracted and equipped the Striker Sprite, it gives you an Overdrive effect every time you Mantle (climb over a ledge) or Hurdle (jump over an obstacle). Overdrive is essentially a burst of speed that kicks in automatically with your normal parkour movements.

The Overdrive buff duration scales as you level up and master the Sprite:
