If you play Fortnite, you've got a chance to grab some free rewards right now. The Fortnite Team Battles event is live, and it's connected to the Baller League competition. All you have to do is play Battle Royale, get some eliminations, and win a few matches. Here's everything you need to know about the Team Battles event in Fortnite.
What Is the Fortnite Team Battles Event?
The Team Battles event is a limited-time community event where you pick a Baller League team to support and earn rewards by playing normally. You don't need to do anything special in-game, just play your usual Battle Royale matches, get kills, and win Rivalries.
The event runs until May 10th, 2026, at 9:00 PM PT, so you still have time to get everything if you start now.
How To Join the Fortnite Team Battles Event
Follow these simple steps to join the Team Battles event in Fortnite:
- Go to fn.gg/teambattles and sign up. Just doing this gives you your first reward.
- Pick a Baller League team to support. You'll get another reward just for voting.
- Play Fortnite. Win matches and get eliminations to earn more rewards.
One thing to keep in mind, your in-game stats take up to 24 hours to show up on the website. So don't panic if your progress isn't there right away.

Here are all the freebies that you can get from participating in the Team Battle event:

The Unstoppable Emote is the big prize here. To get it, you need 22 total eliminations across your matches, which works out to 11 Badges (every 2 eliminations = 1 Badge). Even if you hit 22 eliminations before the event ends, the emote won't land in your locker right away. Epic Games will send it out no earlier than May 14th, 2026, so just be patient.
If you play Fortnite regularly, then you should join this Team Battle event. You're basically getting free cosmetics just for doing what you'd normally do in the game. Just make sure you sign up on the website first, or none of your progress will count. The clock is ticking so do it now!
