How to Unlock Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 6

Unlock Barn Finds With Discover Japan Stamps

Barn Finds are unlocked through the Discover Japan Stamp system. Players earn Stamps by completing exploration activities, interacting with Discover Japan markers, and increasing their Discovery progress across the map.

As you unlock more Stamps, new Barn Find icons will begin appearing across different regions.

Stamps Replace Rumors From Previous Games

Previous Forza Horizon titles used random rumors to reveal hidden cars. In Forza Horizon 6, the system has been replaced with Stamps to better match the game’s Japan-focused exploration theme.

Instead of waiting for rumors, players now unlock Barn Finds directly through progression and exploration.

The First Barn Find Unlock

The first Barn Find becomes available after unlocking the Yellow Stamp.

This unlocks the:

  • Honda NSX-R GT
  • Ohtani Region Barn Find
  • Barn Find tutorial sequence

The game then introduces players to the Barn Find search mechanic.

Use Barn Find Icons to Search for Cars

Once unlocked, a Barn Find icon appears on the map showing the general search area.

Players must then:

  • explore nearby roads
  • check hidden trails
  • search off-road paths
  • locate the exact hidden structure manually

Many Barn Finds are hidden away from main highways and require careful exploration.

Barn Finds Will Not Appear Early

If players reach a Barn Find location before unlocking the required Stamp, the vehicle will not appear. Always unlock the corresponding Stamp before visiting the location.

Restoring Barn Find Cars

After discovering a vehicle, it is sent for restoration. Players can check restoration progress through:

Cars Menu > Barn Finds

Once restoration is complete, the vehicle becomes fully drivable and customizable.
