In Forza Horizon 6, you can customize your character's style to better match the cool cars you drive. However, some players may have trouble figuring out how to change their character's appearance, and that is understandable since the option is not very obvious. In this guide, I will explain how to change your character's clothes in Forza Horizon 6.
How to Change Clothes in Forza Horizon 6
To change your character’s clothes, accessories, skin tone, or even body type in Forza Horizon 6, you first need to be inside one of your houses. The fastest way to get there is by opening the Main Menu (all icons meaning) and heading to the My Horizon tab. Select it, and you will automatically be transported to your last main house.
Alternatively, you can head to the Cars tab in the Main Menu and select Buy New & Used Cars. This places you near the Horizon Circuits, which can be convenient depending on where you want to go next.
Once inside your house, the next step is finding the correct menu. Scroll through the available on-screen options until you reach the Character section. Continue scrolling to the right until you find it, then select Customize Character to open the outfit editor.
Changing Your Outfit
Inside the customization screen in Forza Horizon 6, all available clothing options are listed on the left side. You can scroll through them and swap out whatever you like, from tops and bottoms to shoes and accessories.
Keep in mind that most clothing items cost Credits, so make sure you have enough before purchasing what you want. If you need more Credits, you can head back out and win some races, whether through Street Racing or Touge Battles.
Some outfits can also be unlocked for free through Wheelspins, which are earned by leveling up (beginner's guide) and completing challenges. Additionally, certain cosmetic items are tied to Discover Japan progress or the Festival Playlist.
